As you know, my precious one
I've never been that much of one
To follow blindly those that lead
And, those that spout a crippled creed
Each day the more I am convinced
And, so, the more do I evince
That life's pursuit is one true love
There's nothing else can touch thereof
We must complete the final trip
For which we are so well equipped
Because we settle for the rain
We come back time and time, again
Never to move on in essence
Only in your finest presence
The final call will be
A lifetime spent with thee
What god is there that I could need?
But, love of you completes the deed
When just one life's been spent together
A new, sweet bliss will hold the tether
Then, on into a new and brighter shore
Into the sound of waves with subtle roar
