A glance, enough, to capture heart, let all bow down in thrall
But, that is not enough to claim the essence of it all
For in that beauty lies a depth unknown to all but one
There, shining bright, deep in her heart, it rivals even sun
'Tis not the beauty of the shell, so beautiful indeed
But, glowing deep within a life, that struggles to be freed
So well borne in measured terms, the pain and all the strife
For essence of her beauty is the beauty of this life
The bride of life, she lives it, bearing pent up life's demand
No time is wasted on the chore to live to understand
But, seizes moment, day by day, the essence is to live
Embracing each new moment with all that which she can give
Don't waste her time with ruminations on eternity
For, life is lived by moments lived, in essence, don't you see
An ache goes out to seek that essence each and every day
Aspiring to the love of her, in her so wondrous way
