Jake and I walked up his drive and we found his dad outside sitting in the yard with Chief Swan.

"Hey, kids," Billy said, "What are you two doing here? I thought you were spending the day with Sam and Emily."

"Something was said between a couple of people and it just ended bad," I said. Billy decided to not question it so Jake and I went inside.

"Now, Mi-Na, what is wrong? You literally ran off with no warning," Jake said as we sat back on the sofa.

I sighed, "What Paul said hit a nerve. Yes, my anger is easily triggered by the mention of...well you know who," I said trying to avoid his name, "Anyways, my anger will always be triggered by that name. He made me look like a fool after telling me he imprinted on me."

I ran my fingers through my hair, a usual sign of stress.

"Mi," He said, "Paul is just a big pile of anger. What he says just needs to be ignored. Or you can just anger him even more by bringing up Rachel, his imprint."

"No, I don't want to take cheap shots. I'm not like him," I said, "I just wish everything would have just worked in my favor."

Jake pulled me over and wrapped me in a tight hug.

"I know," He said, "But until then, let me beat the living shit out of Cameron."

I chuckled, "As tempting as that is, I don't think it will do much. He doesn't seem to understand that he caused some hurt."

The front door opened and closed before Billy appeared in the living room.

"Everything alright," He asked. I nodded.

"Yea," I said, "Just hurting and being pissed a little."

"What happened?"

"Jared imprinted on her," Jake said for me before adding, "He told her then she kissed him and in return, he told her he had a girlfriend. With him saying that, she became angry enough and phased. Well she hasn't forgave him and later Paul said something about her anger being easily triggered due to Jared's name."

I felt my body tensing up every time I heard the name.

"Calm down," Jake said running his fingers through my hair. It's needless to say that Jake and I are growing close. I felt a little relaxed. People playing with my hair has always relaxed me.

"Just give it a bit, he won't be able to resist the pull of the imprint," Billy said with reassurance in his voice.

"I don't even know if I want the imprint," I said being honest, "So far it has only caused me pain and me looking like a fool."

"Sweetie," Billy said, "Jared has always been the kind to never really take anything serious until he really realizes that he screwed up. Just give it a week or two."

I nodded, wiping the stray tear that found its way down my cheek.

"I think I am just going to go home," I said, "Thanks for everything, you two. You both are the best family."

I hugged both Black men before Jake walked me back to my home. My real home, the one with my mom and siblings. I invited Jake in which he gladly accepted before we both walked in.

"Cauā, Jaci; this is our cousin Jake. Jake, these are my siblings."

They greeted each other before I went to the kitchen.

"You want anything," I asked. He shook his head no, "Since you asked me what was wrong, I feel like I should ask you the same thing."

He sighed, "Bella has me on a fucking chase. Like I love her and she is great but I know she is continuously going back to that stupid leech."

I could tell he was frustrated just from his body language.

I sighed and walked over to the table to join him, "Jake, listen to me. Please," I said and he nodded, "This girl is no good for you. She is using you for her own gain and I will be quite honest, I don't like it. I think you should just let her go. And I'm not saying that just to be saying it because trust me, I know what it is like to have your feelings played with. It sucks, it really does."

He looked to be contemplating what I said before nodding, "You're right. I need to but how?"

"You know how to," I said, "Tell her that you can't stand getting hurt anymore and that you don't want to be her friend anymore. I don't want to tell you to cut all ties but that's the only way it will really work."

He was quiet for a moment before nodding again, "Do you have a phone I can borrow? I am going to call her and explain everything to her."

I nodded and retrieved my cell phone for him, I gave him it and he immediately dialed it.

"Bella," Jake said, "It's Jacob, I'm on my cousin's phone."

He was tired, the look on his face said it all.

"Um, actually I do need something, well more like I need to tell you something," He scratched the back of his neck, "I can't be your friend anymore."

I heard her voice loud and as clear as possible with it being over the phone.

"Break up with you? Bella, I love you and you do nothing but string me along and only use me when it's convenient for you," Jake said becoming annoyed. I mean, I would too if I was trying to talk and the other person turned into a whiny baby.

"Don't bring Mi-Na into this," Jake said with irritation in his voice, "She done nothing wrong."

I heard a knock on the door and got up to answer it but Cauā already did.

"Hey, Quil and some random guy," My brother said before letting the other cousin in, "If you are looking for Mi-Na and Jake, they are in the kitchen."

I walked out into the family room.

"Hey," I said, they both joined Jake and I.

"Seriously, just stop coming here. Stop talking to me. Just... stop. This is a goodbye that will forever be a good bye."

He hung up and gave me back my phone.

"I'm sorry that had to happen," I apologized to him.

"No, don't apologise. It needed to be done."

"What happened," Quil asked. Jake sighed.

"Mi-Na helped me realize that Bella was using me for her own gain and I was getting nothing out of it but being strung along and being hurt."

"We have been trying to talk to you about it for months," Embry said.

"I only got through him because I know how he feels first hand."

I pass all three of them some food which they didn't turn down.
