I opened my eyes after letting the contents from my stomach out into the porcelain toilet bowl for the fourth time this week. I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand before gagging at the taste. I spit real quick before standing up. I moved over to the sink and rinsed the bile from my mouth. I looked in the mirror and noticed that I looked fine.

"Sweetie, you okay," It was my mom.

"Yea," I said as I opened the door, "Just threw up, that's all."

She gave me a look of worry, "You can't be sick because you shifters don't get sick. You couldn't have ate anything bad because your stomach is stronger than that."

I felt insecure under her eyes as she analyzed me.

"Sweetie, did you and Jared have sex," Mom asked, I looked down at my feet as I stood in the bathroom doorway, "When?"

"Multiple times but we first done it a little over a month and a half or so ago," I said, "Why?"

That was a stupid question because it immediately dawned on me.

"Nope," I said, "I'm not ready to be a mom."

"Sweetie," She said, "We are going to get you tested. If you are, then that's great. You are so ready to be a mother, I know you are. You show it every day when you don't even realize it."

I was quiet for a moment before nodding, "Just let me go get changed."

I went to my room and changed into a completely different outfit. Something more suitable for the doctors.

"Are we just going to doctor Cullen's," I asked.

"Yes, he is the only one that knows about the supernatural," Mom said, we left and got in her car. Mom must've called up Carlisle before hand since we were soon at his house. He came out.

"Nice to see you are healthy again, Mi-Na," He said, I smiled.

"It's nice to be healthy again," I said, "Um, did mom give you a run down of what was going on?"

He nodded, "She did. Why don't we go up to my office and give you a check up?"

I nodded, I followed him up the stairs into his home office, I sat on the hospital bed.

"So," He said, "First we will do a blood test then an ultrasound."

I nodded, he wrapped a band around my arm and my veins immediately swell due to the lack of blood flood. Carlisle quickly shoved the needle in the vein before unwrapping the band. The blood immediately flowed, filling the test tube.

"Hold this, apply pressure," He said as he pressed a cotton ball to the spot when pulling the needle out. I did and I soon felt the little hole heal. I removed the ball and sighed, no bruising. Carlisle did a quick test.

"Alright, ms. Lewis, you are definitely pregnant so congratulations," He said smiling, "Now, let's do an ultrasound to see how far along you are."

Pregnant with in three months of being in La Push, I'm pretty sure that is a record.

I laid back, do everything I needed to do in order to get the ultrasound picture.

"How do you know to do this," Carlisle asked.

"I remember my mom doing it when she was pregnant with the twins."

"She has excellent memory," Mom said, "But only when she wants to."

I smiled, grabbing my mom's hand, she pat my hand as she grabbed it back. Carlisle squeezed the gel on my stomach and use the wand to spread it about.

"There they are," Carlisle said catching my attention, "Here is Baby A and Baby B. You seem to be about a month and seventeen days along.

My eyes grew wide, "Twins? How is that even possible?"

"Twins run in the family," Mom said, "Your great aunt was a twin and so is your siblings. It's inevitable."

How was I going to raise twins? I mean I'm 17 years old!

Mom squeezed my hand, "Sweetie, there is no need to stress over this. I promise. I will be there to help. The twins will help. And I'm positive that Jared will help."

I quietly nodded, still very unsure.

I felt Carlisle wipe my stomach off and giving me a couple pictures. I thanked him and sat up, I pulled my shirt down and got off the table.

"So, you going to tell Jared?"

I nodded, "I think I am going to wait until after three months so I know I don't miscarry."

"That will be the biggest mistake, not telling him until after three months. What if you do? You will need that support of all your loved ones."

I sighed, "Okay, I am going to talk to him and tell him but I'm taking him to a diner and tell him."

She nodded, we went home and I immediately went over to Sam's where I knew I would find him.

"Hey, can I talk to you for a moment," I asked Jared, he nodded and we both went outside, immediately went out of earshot.

"Everything okay," He asked before giving me a kiss.

Finally get the one thing I have been wanting all day. His lips.

"Ugh, yeah," I said attempting to get my mind under control, "So I went to go see Carlisle this morning after mom made the decision when I threw up for the fourth time this week. I found out that I am pregnant with twins. A month and seventeen days."

I looked up at him to see his reaction. His eyes were wide and his mouth was slightly open due to the surprise.

"I don't know what to say," Jared said, "I'm going to be a dad? I'm going to be a dad!"

I laughed at his excitement at the end. He kissed me hard.

"That is such great news," He said smiling, "You have no idea how happy I am."

I smiled, wrapping my arms around him as we stood in the yard.
