After helping Emily do the dishes, we all decided to go and see the house we were talking about. As we approached First Beach, Jared turned his truck right as we came to a grass covered path. As we all came to a stop, we got out and looked at it.

"It's a nice size," Emily said coming up behind me, "What do you think?"

"I like it," Sam said, "And it's bigger than our house now. I think this could work."

I smiled at Jared and Seth, "Great! When did you want to start fixing it?"

"Hm," Sam hummed, "How about tomorrow? But we need to get up to the second floor before we do anything so we can see how bad it is."

I looked around the house and found a tree before climbing up it. I peered inside, "It has water damage!"

I jumped down and walked back to the others.

"Back side looks to have major water damage, we would have replaced the whole floor and the beams under it."

He nodded, "We will get started tomorrow and see what we can do."

We all nodded, we all left and I noticed Jake and Riley were not with us.

"Does anyone know where Jake and Riley went," I asked.

"Oh, he went to go explain to her the legends," Embry said, I nodded.

"I hope she takes it well," I said as I hugged Jared's arm to my chest.

"I think she will," Embry replied, "She seemed pretty chill at the bonfire."

Jared opened my door and helped me in before I felt the truck jolt from others jumping in the bed. I shook my head, smiling. Jared got in.

"What are you smiling about," He asked.

"The dweebs in the back," I said, "I realized I couldn't live without you guys. You all are my boys."

"And you are our girl," Embry said as he stuck his head in the window. I smiled and laid my head on Jared's shoulder, closing my eyes slightly. As we approached the house, a sickly sweet smell hit my nostrils. Vampire. Again. Jared stopped the truck and we all got out.

"What the hell is with all these leeches," I asked getting moody.

"I don't know," Paul said coming up beside Jared, who stood next to me, "Sam, you may wanna keep Emily in the truck and get Jake's girl in there too."

By time we got back, Jake and Riley were already back.

We heard Sam's truck drive away, probably telling the girls to go somewhere else. With them being gone, we all immediately phased and ran off into the woods. I started to sniff the ground for any trace of the sickly sweet stench then took off in the direction it was going.

Guys, this way, I thought before leading the guys in the direction. I pushed my legs quicker and harder, my breathe huffed out in pants. I snarled as I approached the pin straight, brunette leech who was bouncing between trees. I jumped up as I nipped at her heel, she hissed and kicked my head knocking me to the ground. I heard a pained whimper as Jared came up to me.

I'm okay, I said reassuring him through tbe mind link. I licked his face and stood up. He gave me a look.

I worry about you, I don't want you hurt, He said licking my face.

I worry about you too but I am fine, I promise, I licked his face again before Sam interrupted us.

Now is not the time to get all cuddly, we have Leech to catch.

Jared's and my attention was broke when we remembered the leech thanks to Sam. I growled again and took off in the direction of the scent.

To the left, Leah yelled in my head. I took off to the left, colliding my body with the leech's. I growled at her as she hit a tree, cracking it. I stood up after being flung back. I approached her and pounced. I dug my teeth into her cold flesh on her arm as the others came and joined in tearing her apart.

Her body was lit on fire after Sam phased back, we all sat there and watched as it crackled. I stood up and turned back toward Sam's house, I phased back once I found the bush where my clothes were and got dressed.

"Good job, baby," Jared said smiling as he wrapped his arms around me. I smiled and kissed him.

"Let's go on inside," He said, "I think the others are wanting to watch a movie."

I nodded and we walked in, joining the others in a Fast and Furious movie marathon.
