Soulmates Book 2 = Ming-Kit Story

Chapter 8

Kit stopped in front of the room and took a really deep breath... He read quietly the name of the patient on that door... Zo Wangsapat... He knew he had to face Zo eventually... He was doing his rounds to check on the patients from last night and Zo was one of them... Kit was a bit hesitant to enter the room... But whether he liked it or not, it was his duty to check on his patient's health to see if the patient had showed some improvement on their health or vice versa, and decide if the patient would need further treatment or could be discharged already.

Kit sighed and knocked on the door softly before he entered the room... He staggered as he saw that Zo was still crying on the bed and the room was in a complete mess.

- You!!!.... Zo yelled at Kit as soon as he saw Kit stepped inside the room... It's you!.. You're the reason he closed his heart to me!... He shouted in anger as he took his phone and threw it to Kit.

Luckily, Kit managed to duck out of the way... The phone had hit the hard wall instead and it broke into pieces before all the pieces scattered down on the cemented floor.

- Zo... calm down.... Let's talk... Don't get yourself stress out... It's not good for your health... Kit walked forward and tried to calm the angry patient... He slowly reached for the emergency button and pressed it without being noticed by Zo.

- Talk?!.. I don't want to talk!.. I want you to leave Ming!... I still love him!... I might have made a mistake, but that doesn't mean I don't love him anymore!... I regret everything that I've done in the past and I'm thinking on getting back with him!... But you've ruined it!!!... Zo suddenly launched forward at Kit and punched the innocent doctor who was unabled to defend himself from the attack... That's for ruining my chance!!... Zo yelled to Kit.

Kit felt a piercing pain spreading all over his face before he fell on the floor because of that unexpected punch... Kit groaned and held his bruise cheek whilst looking up to Zo with a dour face... He was boiling inside with rage and really wanted to break Zo's nose... Zo was lucky that he couldn't return the favour since he was one of the doctors in that hospital.

Zo had jumped on Kit and tried to punch him again... but Kit managed to escape from being a punching bag for Zo... when two male nurses had rushed into the room and apprehended Zo before his fist even came into contact with Kit's face... Kit was glad that the male nurses had came to the rescue, since he didn't think the female nurses could hold Zo down at all.

Zo struggled to be free but his strength alone wasn't enough to go against those nurses.
- Let me go!!... He yelled as he tried to free himself... But his movement became less aggresive when he was taken to the bed and Kit had managed to inject him with drugs to calm him down.

Kit exhaled in relief as he gestured those male nurses to leave them after he felt that Zo couldn't harm him anymore.

- Please leave Ming... please... Zo pleaded under the influenced of that drug.

Kit sighed as he checked on Zo's health and listened to Zo's rambling.

- I still love.... Ming.... I still love.... him.... Please.... give him back to me... Zo begged in a whisper, with tears rolling down his face before he drifted to sleep.

Kit stared down at the sleeping Zo and watched him for a while before he finally left the room with a feeling of melancholy
