Chapter 30

- Ming... where are you taking me?... I'm starving... Let's find a place to eat... I don't care where, as long as they serve food... Kit was whining.

- Just wait... We're almost there... Ming said and drove his car towards the Gateway Ekamai Shopping Mall.

Ming parked his car in the basement then took Kit to one of his favourite fastfood restaurant in that mall and ordered for them the same food that he always had when he went to any Subway restaurant.

- Err...Ming... This is too much!... I'm not sure if I can finish everything... Kit gulped as he looked down at his set of food.

- Just eat as much as you can... And I'll finish the rest for you... I may look skinny but I do have a big appetite... Ming said as he began to eat his sandwich... Hmmm... He hummed with his eyes closed whilst chewing that mouthwatery sandwich diligently.

Kit had never tried the food from that restaurant before... He was a bit hesitant, but once he had taken a bite of that sandwich, his eyes were wide opened in astonishment.
- Damn!... This is delicious!

- Yup!... I agree with you!... Ming said whilst kept on chewing his food.

Kit licked his lips that was smeared with sauce and began to take a bigger bite.
- This is heaven... He said with his mouth full.

- Yup... heaven indeed... Ming retorted as he took a sip of his soft drink.

- Ming, I have a question for you.

- Go ahead and ask, kitten.

- What are you going to do with your apartment?

- I'm going to sell it... I don't want my kitten to worry or be jealous anymore... so I need to sell that apartment... Ming pinched Kit's chin as he emphasized the word jealous.

- Yeah... yeah... I'm the jealous one...  maybe I should tell you about my previous lovers to make you jealous as well... Hmm... who should I talk about...?

Ming stopped eating immediately... put down his sandwich and cupped his ears.
- No!... Don't tell me!... I don't want to know.

Kit guffawed and pulled Ming's hands off his ears.
- I have no one to talk about since you're my first real love, Ming... He said and pinched Ming's cheeks lightly.

Ming gaped and held Kit's hand firmly.
- I'm the first?... Seriously?... What about, Dr. Phana?

- He is just my bestfriend.

- You're not kidding?... The way he cares for you can make anyone think that he and you are a couple... I get jealous everytime I see you two together.

Kit laughed and flicked his finger on Ming's forehead.
- He's not, puppy.

- So... it's true then?

Kit nodded with his brows raised... Ming couldn't stop smiling... He was too happy that he was Kit's first love.

- Are you that happy?

- I'm so ecstatic!

- Hmmph.. lucky you... Kit mumbled and continued eating his food.

- Kitten, don't frown... What if I take you to somewhere special... will you stop frowning?

- We'll see.

- Eat up... and I promise that you will not be dissappointed.

And Ming was right... Kit couldn't believe his eyes when they entered the Snow town Bangkok that was located in that mall.

- Wow!... Kit was speechless.

- Do you like it?

- Very much... Kit replied briefly... But it's cold.

- Let me warm you up... Ming swiftly backhugged Kit to lessen the coldness.

They were both stood in silence... sharing their body warmth as they enjoyed the view... when suddenly Kit received a call from home... He swiftly answered his phone and his face expression changed instantly as he heard his father's request.

After a brief talk with his father, Kit slowly hung up the phone and turned around to face Ming.

- What's wrong, Kit?

- I have to go back to my parents' house.

- Do you want me to send you?... Ming asked worriedly.

- I don't think you should come because I may have to stay there... But you can stay at my place as we agreed... Kit replied as they walked out of that place and headed to the elevator.

- Kit... are you sure?... what about your work?

- I need to call the hospital to extend my leave.

- Kit...

- Hmm...

- Why do I get a bad feeling about you going home?

Kit sighed and held Ming's hand tightly.
- I hope your feeling is wrong, Ming... Don't worry, okay... I'll be fine... Everything is going to be fine... He said to calm them both.
