The next morning... as their usual routine... Phana had fetched Kit from his apartment to go to work together... and he was rather surprised to see that Kit had been smiling a lot... He kept glancing at Kit and he noticed that once in a while Kit would shook his head and chuckled softly whilst looking out of the car window.
- I didn't know that falling in love can make you go insane...Phana teased his friend... ruffled Kit's hair lightly... whilst one hand held the steering wheel firmly as he maneuvered his Hummer towards the basement of the hospital building, to the area that was designated for parking.
- Do you think I'm going insane?... Kit widened his eyes as he waited for Phana to turn off the ignition.
- Yup!... I do think so... since you keep shaking your head and laughing with yourself.
- Maybe you're right... But I can't stop laughing everytime I remember Ming's silly act last night... That guy really knows how to make me smile...Kit chortled as he got out of that Hummer.
- Then... are you still going to let Zo have him back?... Phana queried whilst locking his Hummer and then walked with Kit towards the elevator.
- I'm not sure anymore Pha...Kit answered hesitantly... He had been thinking a lot about Ming... but he still didn't have the ultimate answer on what he should be doing.
- Follow your heart Kit...Phana poked Kit's chest and raised his left brow.
- Maybe I will... It definitely going to be my last resort... depending on the situation that I might encounter in the future... But right now... all I can think about is food... I'm hungry.
- I'm glad that you have your appetite back...Phana said to Kit...And I think... maybe... you should thank your Ming... since he's the reason that you've become jovial as well... That Ming guy has infected you with his happy syndrome... but I'm not complaining you know... I love to see my friend being happy.
- No way Pha... I'm not going to do that... Let's just keep this between us for now... okay??...Kit said whilst dragging Phana to the canteen.
After breakfast... as Kit and Phana walked passed the hospital reception counter at the lobby to go to the nearest elevator that led to the doctor's lounge room... one of the nurses had called Kit and gave him a small tiny gift box and a bouquet of KitKat that was addressed to him.
Kit was surprised as he looked at the gifts in his hands.
