Soulmates Book 2 = Ming-Kit Story

Chapter 13

- What's on your mind Kit?... Phana asked as he drove his Hummer to their usual hang out place after their duties at the hospital was over for that day.

It was pretty late in the evening and they were going to meet Beam and Forth to discuss about tomorrows' event... It was something that they had been doing for years to help the orphanage that Beam used to live in... Since they both had a break for two days starting tomorrrow... so they needed to use that opportunity to do as what they had been planning for weeks... since it was hard for them to find a free time.

- I was thinking about Ming... The truth is, I'm really confused... I'm not sure if Ming is being sincere or just playing with me.

- Why do you have such negative thoughts?... From what I've seen so far, I don't think he's playing with you.

- I'm just not convinced yet... I admit that I have open my heart for him, but... Kit paused and took a deep breath... I need a lot more proves that he is into me for real... so I know how to defend myself against community, my parents and also how to fight in order to protect this forbidden love.

- I understand what you're saying Kit... Why don't you give him more time to prove to you that he really mean it?... Phana advised Kit so he wouldn't let go of Ming that easily.

- That's what I'm trying to do... But, ¿what if I'm right?... What if he is playying with me?... I'll be the one who suffered the most in the end.

- If that happens... I promise you that I'll bury him alive... But I doubt that he will hurt you since he know that if he hurt Beam's friend, he has to confront Forth who obviously going to kill him for Beam... Phana said confidently... You don't have to worry... If that really happens you still have us to cheer you up... Now, just relax and clear your mind from those negative thoughts... He added whilst parked his Hummer at the designated area for parking.

Kit nodded and took a deep breath to forget about Ming for a while... He wanted to focus more about their discussion for tomorrow event... But he didn't expect that Wayo and Ming had joined them as well... Kit was trapped... Whether he liked it or not, he still had to deal with Ming who was pretty much a handful guy and pretty hard to avoid... Ming was charming but sometimes could be annoying as well... Kit liked having him around, but at the same time he hated the guy for teasing him too much.

By the end of their discussion, Kit was getting really exhausted... He was tired mentally and physically because of Ming... All he wanted to do was to go home and rest... And thank God that he was carpooling with Phana... He was too lazy to drive anyway.

- Kit... Ming is here... Phana said and motioned Kit to look ahead as they walked towards Ming who was standing near the Hummer.

Ming was looking at them as well... and he was annoyed to see Phana's arm hooked around Kit's shoulders.

- Hmm... why are you here Mr. Ming?.. Are you waiting for Kit?... Phana quetioned the guy as he looked at him suspiciously.

- Sorry Dr. Phana for interrupting... but, may I have a word with Dr. Kit?... Ming said whilst his eyes were glued on Kit's tired face.

- Sure... Just don't take too long... My friend here needs his rest... or he will get grumpy all morning... Phana said whilst brushing his fingers through Kit's hair... Will you be okay if I leave Kit?"

- I'll be fine... I yell for you if he does inappropriate things to me... Kit replied whilst staring daggers at Ming.

- Err...Dr. Phana... if you want... you can accompany Wayo... He is waiting for me in the car over there... Ming pointed to a black Mercedes that was parked not far from there.

- Hmm... really?... Maybe I should... Phana smiled mischievously before he quickened his pace towards Ming's car.

- So... why are you still here Mr. Ming?... If you want to ask me about staying over at my place... sorry I can't allow you.

- No... that's not why I'm here... even though  that matter did cross my mind... Ming chuckled and pulled Kit to him, twirled that doctor and trapped him against the Hummer... But I'm here because you made me so freaking jealous right now... And for that you have to pay me a compensation.
