Chapter 10

- Err... this is so awkward... Kit uttered as he scratched the back of his neck. He was embarassed that Phana had reported to Ming about everything that happened to him.

- Dr. Kit... Did Zo really do that to you?... Did he really punch you?... Ming couldn't believe what he was hearing... He reached out and touched Kit's bruised cheek... Dr. Kit... please answer me?... Please tell me the truth... He asked again because he wanted to hear the truth from Kit himself.

- He was not in a stable state when he did that... He was crying and also upset... I know he didn't mean to punch me... Kit told Ming that Zo might have lost control because of those reasons.

- WOW !... SO... HE DID PUNCH YOU... THAT SON OF A BITCH... THAT UNGRATEFUL PERSON... THAT WHORE!... THAT... ERGH!... HOW COULD HE DO THAT TO YOUR BEAUTIFUL FACE ?!

Kit was surprised that Ming was cursing in front of him... And people were staring because he was too loud.

- Mr. Ming!... Lower down your voice!... You're making us the centre of attention!... Kit grimaced as he bowed to people around them and apologized to them repeatedly... He was slightly embarassed because of Ming's bad choice of words.

- Maybe I should go and have a word with him to make him understand that he and me will never get back together.

- Wait!... Why do you want to do that?... Are you purposely using this excuse because you want to meet him?... Kit was annoyed... He didn't want Ming to go near Zo at all.

- Why can't I?... I need to make him understand that he shouldn't tamper with my happiness or hurt my potential soulmate... But why are you saying that I want to meet him purposely?... Are you... jealous... Dr. Kit?... Aren't you the one who said that you want to give me back to Zo?... Ming raised his brows and peered down at Kit's flustered face.

- Err... err... That's not it!... I just don't want people to fight because of me.

- Are you afraid that I may get hurt?... Well... I have you to attend my wound... so I don't mind of getting hurt.

- BUT I DO !!... Err... I mean... Never mind... Kit mentally slapped himself for letting that statement slipped off his tongue.

- Hmmm... Dr. Kit is speechless.... So cute!... Ming squealed.

- Shut the fuck up!... Kit growled at Ming in annoyance.

- Damn!... You're getting cuter every time you get angry... Ming chortled as his eyes glued on that adorable doctor.

Kit rolled his eyes and looked inside the restaurant to seek for Phana.
- Well... aren't you going to tell me about your history with Zo?... I deserve to know since he had punched my face.

- Hmm.... I'll tell you... if you... become my soulmate.

- No way!... Kit immediately refused.

- Awh!... My heart!... I feel like I've been stabbed by a million daggers!... Help me Dr. Kit... I'm bleeding... Ming clutched his chest and pretended to be hurt.

- Stop being so dramatic Mr. Ming!... Kit yelled.

Ming laughed and ruffled Kit's hair gently.

- Don't touch my hair!... Kit pushed Ming's hand away and glared at the guy.

- Okay... okay... Damn!... You're so cute Dr. Kit... Ming smiled at how cute Kit became because of his grumpiness... Dr. Kit... about me and Zo... I will tell you when the time is right... For now, do you mind if I keep it as a secret?... Because I don't want to bring shame to Zo.

- Hmph!... You said you don't like him... but still you're trying to protect him.

- I don't like him... I just don't want to humiliate him... Ming tried to make Kit understand... But... I will tell you one day... I promise.

- Whatever!

- Are you mad Dr. Kit?... Please don't be mad?... You look so adorable when you're mad.... And why are you pouting?... I may want to kiss you if you keep pouting... Ming leaned closer with a lopsided smile decorated his face.

- Stop Mr. Ming or I'll punch you!... Kit threatened the guy.

- Do it... Ming provoked boldly.

- Mr. Ming!

- Okay... okay... but one day I'll get to kiss that pouting lips.

- In your dream.

- Owh... are we going to meet in my dream?... Ming wiggled his brows.

- I don't even know why I'm still here... talking to you... when I should be inside... Eating... I'm really hungry.

- Then... go ahead Dr. Kit... Go inside and have your dinner.

- I'm going... but... err... You're not going to join us?

- Maybe some other time... I've eaten already and I need to go somewhere else... But thanks my adorable Dr. Kit for inviting me.

- Yeah... yeah... Kit said as he opened the door to that restaurant.

- Bye... my potential soulmate!... Till we meet again!... Ming yelled before Kit stepped inside to look for Phana.
