The Real Neverland

chapter 9

We waited for the shadow to come, and I couldn't help but get nervous and scared. What if someone recognised me? Has anyone noticed I was gone? Do my parents even care? They probably don't they hardly acknowledge my existence.

The shadow appears, and Peter or should I say Robbie grabbed the shadows wrist then held mine then we were off to my world.

We arrived in my town behind a building that I knew was the library, "Now Maddie lead the way to the park", Peter says with a smirk, and I hold back the giggle I walk through the alley to the streets of my town, and then I feel Peters hand slide in mine I look up at him in shock.

"What I'm adding character", he says and this time I couldn't help but let out a small giggle, and Peter cocks his eyebrow.

"Did I just make Maddie giggle", Peter says pretending to be shocked, I giggle again. Fucking hell why am I giggling so much. Peter smiles, and it was a warm smile.

I turn to face forward then stop in my tracks; Peter looks at me. "Maddie what is it", he asks.

"It's Bonnie my um so-called friend she is coming in our direction she will see me", I whisper Peter tugs on his hair, "Peter she is getting close what do we do", I whisper.

"I don't know, I don't have magic, and we are in public, and there is nowhere to hide", he says, Bonnie was on her phone walking closer and closer to us, she looks like she is about to look up.

"Robbie", I say a little louder making bonnie slowly lift her head but then Robbie steps in front of me put his hands on either side of my face and smashes his lips on mine, making a spark inside of me burst. We did move our lips or anything I placed my hands on his waist then Bonnie walks past us.

Peter lets go of my face and pulls away, and I am in complete shock, "don't think anything of that, it was the only thing I thought of in that split second", he says, then grabs my hand and starts walking.

What the hell.

We arrive at the park and start walking up the path to the waterfall all I could think about was Peters lips on mine it was hardly a kiss we didn't do anything, but still, his lips on mine were just...

Maddie stops it; it was nothing he said, so he just focus on the reason why we are here and it is to find the book.

We arrive at the waterfall, "So are you sure you threw it in there", he says, and I nod.

He sighs then took off his shirt showing his impressive torso, "Like what you see, love", Peter says smirking.

"Pe- I mean Robbie, why are you t-taking your top of", I ask shocked.

He chuckles, don't flatter yourself I'm not finding the book in my clothes and neither are you so strip", he says then takes he pants on leaving him in his boxes. I sigh in defeat taking my shirt off and pants leaving me in my black bra and matching undies. I look up at Peter, and he's biting his bottom lip. I roll my eyes and walk into the water.

We've been searching for the book for half an hour now and still nothing; I don't understand I threw it in here I saw it go in the water. I went up to get my air and Peter was doing the same, and we were very close to each other which remind me of the um whatever it was.

"It doesn't seem like it is here, are you sure it was here you better not be lying to me", he says.

"Of course I'm not lying why would I lie about some damn book why is it so important that you find it nobody is going to believe it", I say.

"You believed it", he said.

"I didn't believe it I thought it was interesting, I didn't mean to say those words they just slipped out", I say walking out of the water I turn around, and Peter was right in front of me.

"Maddie, one of the things you have to do, to come to Neverland is believe and without believing you wouldn't have come, so stop denying it and tell me where the book is", he says.

"I don't know where it is ROBBIE! Someone could have found it lots of people come here!" I yell.

"You better not be lying to me Maddie or I will-"

"Or you'll find what huh what!", I yell.

"Or I will..", he trails of.

"YOU WILL WHAT!" I yell, pushing to far this time. He grabs me and pushes me into a near tree.

"Or I will take you back to Neverland a rip your shadow slowly and painfully, making you scream for me to kill you", He growls making me gasp. He lets go.

"Put your clothes on, change of plans we will be staying here for the night", he says then puts his clothes on and wait for me.

What the hell just happened, he scared me so much his eyes were full of anger, and he sounded so severe. When I finished, he started walking to a motel.

He was clever and went around the back and found a motel room that wasn't used and the window wasn't locked. He climbed through an unlocked the door.

"Come in", he says I walk in, and there was a double bed with plain sheets.

"You stay in here don't you dare leave I will be back in a few minutes", Peter says.

"Yes, Peter", I say, and his eyes soften at me calling him Peter. He opens his mouth slightly then closes it and leaves.

What is so odd to me calling him Peter, it's his name.

Today, when Peter threatened me, it scared the shit out of me, and what scares me the most.

Is that I don't even think that's half of what Peter is capable of...
