Maddie POV

My eyes open, and I cringe when the bright sun. I turn to Peter, and I gasp slightly. He looks dead, I would think he was, but his chest was rising and falling, I touched his cheek and felt ice. I kissed his cheek and clicked my fingers, and he we was in a tent by the lost boys camp. I thought I would keep him on the ground, so it was easy for me and the lost boys to see him.

I smiled and walked out of the tent to see the lost boys, and they were all standing in front of the tent.

"He's leaving tonight, isn't he?" Will ask, and I nod, and all the lost boys looked down.

"Look, these past couple days he just wanted to be treated like he wasn't dying, but today is the day where you can all go in and be with him. He has told me how he wants to pass, but... when he does, Neverland will disappear, and you all will be going to the enchanted forest" after those words left my mouth, 'what's', and 'no's' erupted.

"Shhh", I say, and they all stop.

"I know this isn't what you want but, when you we get there I will make sure a home is for all of you, so you can all stay together", I say, and Felix frowns.

"What about you?" he asks, and I gulp slightly.

"I'm going back to my world", I say, and his eyes widen.

"You're leaving us too?" Little Tom asks, and my eyes widen.

"No no, it won't be goodbye, I promise I will see all of you again", I say and smile and they all half-smile.

"Why don't we get some food, Peter will be awake soon", I say they all walk away, and Felix and Will walk up to me.

"This is going to be hard for all of us", Will says and looks at the lost boys as they scatter around getting the food ready.

"I don't think it hasn't sunk into their heads yet", Felix adds and rubs his face an exhales loudly.

"It hasn't sunk into my head yet either", I whisper, they turn to me and look at me with sadness and sympathy.

"You know, they say when you die there is a moment when your entire life flashes in your eyes", Will says and Felix smiles.

"He would have a lot of flashes then", Felix says, and we all smile, but hidden behind the smile was hurt.

"Maddie", I hear I look down, and little Tom held two plates of food.

"This is for you and Peter", he says, and I smile and kneel. Little Tom was only eight, and we called him Little Tom because of how small in height he was, he hated the name at first, but he has gotten used to it now.

"Thank you", I say and smile, and he hands them to me, then runs off to the others.

"That was adorable", Will says, and I stand up and look at the tent.

"You guys should go get some food", I tell them, and they nod understanding I want to go see Peter, they walk off, and I head towards the tent. I pull the entrance open and see Peter's eyes wide open just staring at the top of the tent, and I could see from here his eyes were watery, his nostrils flared, and twitching from holding his tears. He clears his throat and turns his head to me, and he smiles as wide as he can.

"H-hey", his voice was crackly and dry, and I walk over and sit by him putting his plate of food on the table next to him.

"Here I will help you sit up", I say, I grab his ice-cold hands and pull him up, he groans in pain, and I quickly hold his back. I click my finger, and lots of pillows appeared behind his back, I leaned him back and soon as his back rested on the pillows he sighed.
