chapter 15

Peter Pan POV

Because of Maddie my trip to get the book has been on a hold for a bit even though I should be having all my attention to it, I walk over to the cages.

Time for lesson 1

I grab the rope holding Maddie's cage up and let go making the cell fall fast and hard, making a loud groan coming from her.

"Rise and shine", I say and open the cage.

"What do you want", she asks.

"You're going to do something for me", I say, and she scoffs.

"No way", she says, and I smirk.

"I thought you might say that, but just remember if you don't, I won't hesitate to hurt those kids you were babysitting or maybe even... Wendy", I say, and her eyes widen.

"Fine", she whispers, and I grin.

"There's a good girl", I say.

I grab her forearm and pull her along to a unique lake away from the mermaids.

"Now I want you to go in and grab a special box", I say.

"How deep", she asks.

"Quite deep, now it is a silver box, and about this big", I show her with my hands.

"Now go", I say and push her in the water. And sit down. She comes up from the surface.

"Are the-there any m-mermaids", she asks shakily.

"No love there is no", I say, and she sighs in relief, "But I would watch out for crocodiles ", I say, and her eyes widen.

"Now go before I push you under with no air", I say and smile. Then she sighs and takes a deep breath before going down.

You're probably wondering, 'Pan getting her to get a box from a lake isn't that bad'. But it is deep, and you have to think whether to keep going down or go back up for air and if you get to a certain point you start to hallucinate the most horrible things, which will be painful for her. That is punishment one from this lesson the second one it the box itself it will try hard to make you lose the air in your lungs which could mean pain.

You're also probably thinking she will die! Well, maybe but at least she will be off my shoulders.

You would care Peter.

No, I won't.

Yes.

No.

Yes.

NO, I won't!

Then I hear a loud gasp I look up and see Maddie gasping for air. "Y-you didn't tell m-me that it was that de-ep", she says through her breathes I smirk at her.

"I promise there will be a reward", I say, and she raises an eyebrow.

"What is it", she asks.

"You won't find out till you get the box so hurry up I have things to do", I say rolling my eyes, and she huffs and goes back down.

You would care.

Oh for peep sakes.

Maddie POV

I took a deep breath and went under again. I don't understand why Peter is making me do this; it doesn't make any sense.

Also, he is acting more... cold? I don't know, but usually, he is a little more caring, but I guess it was all an act.

The water started getting colder, and I guess I'm getting deeper Peter doesn't know that I can hold my breath for a while the reason I went up before is that I thought I saw a crocodile.

"Maddie" I hear a whisper I look around while I'm swimming down and see nothing, so I ignore it.

"Maddie", I hear it again, and I stop and look up and try to hold in a scream as I see Simon floating there blood coming from his neck.

It's not real. It's not real.

I keep swimming then I feel a tug on me leg I look and see peter holding knife and grin as he pulls his arm ready to slash my throat. I keep swimming faster this time I was starting to lose breath, I looked up and saw how deep I was I look down, and I see it, I know the box. I grab it then look up and see the water is getting darker like a red colour, I look around and see hands coming out from things trying to catch me then I look up and can't help but scream letting all my air out of my lungs.

I see all the lost boys all my family the kids' everyone around me with their necks slashed and pale skin.

I can't help but feel darkness overcome me. This is it the way I am going to die is by drowning.

Did peter plan this?

All I feel are too strong arms around me until I go into complete darkness...

Holy shit she could die! I actually don't know yet she could die I mean people get killed of all the time. Hehehehe

That was an evil hehehe if you didn't get that... anyway it's a late update sorry I've been in my bed writing this and now I'm going to just lay in bed and read. No not wattpad yeah that's right I'm reading an actual book that has paper pages and that.
