Part 2: 6

Maddie POV

I never knew it could happen, I never knew I was capable of such a thing. I don't know what it was, if it was magic or just a rebound on her magic, but I stand here in shock. Peter waiting for an answer as Regina just stares at me in shock.

"Maddie? are you listening? what the hell was that?" he askes me again, Mum always said to always reply as it was rude not to, but fuck her, she was never around.

My hands slid against one another and that is when I release how cold they were, my veins on my wrist were on full display, my skin paler then usual. my eyes felt more heavy.

"Maddie!" Peter yells I look up at him.

"W-what?" I say very quiet.

"What was- maddie?" he says walking up to me and touches under my nose and I look and see blood.

My legs begin to weaken and cave in but Peter catches me. "What is happening to her?" I hear him ask.

"I have no idea, I've never seen such a thing happened before, she had magic but she hasnt got the blood for it", Regina states and I would scoff but I am to weak my eyes start closing.

"No no Maddie stay awake-"

"No, its best for her to rest she has used up all of her energy, she won't die", Regina says.

"P-peter?" I whisper and slowly lick my lip.

"What is it, princess", he says and strokes my hair.

"I'm scared", I whisper.

"Why are you scared", he asks quietly but enough for me to hear and not regina.

"That if I close my eyes I won't be able to open them", I say.

"Rest Maddie, I will make sure that your eyes will open once again, and I will be the first you will see when you open them", he says and I feel his warm hands slide into my cold ones.

"Promise", I whsiper.

"I promise", he says and I look at him one last time, looking at all his features.

"Rest Maddie", I hear him whsiper and my eyes slowly close shut..

Peter Pan POV

"It won't take long for her to actaully go to sleep", I say picking her up.

"Honestly Pan, I do not care about your 'one true love' my work here is done, and when I step foot on the enchanted forest I want nothing more to do with you", Regina says and I glare at her.

"But what about our deal", I say through my clenched teeth.

"Oh right the deal, fine I will contact you sometime, to tell you when it's happening", she says and I nod and sigh and releif.

"Now lets go", she says walking out of here.

I listen to Maddie's quiet snores, and her hand holding a bit of my shirt, her pale skin is getting better.

I can feel her heartbeat sometimes, and it makes me smile. some guards come to us but Regina always says;

'There is no need for that you are free, your queen is nothing more then a weak woman' and then they would run off.

We walk out of the castle to see Lost boys, Hatter, Hook and..looks like some wonderland people?

I walk over there and Hook sees me and then Maddie and then runs over.

"What happened!" he yelled.

"shhh", I say.

"She is resting, it is a long story that I will tell next to a fire on neverland with some of your rum", I say and he hesistates but then nods.
