three days later and veronica was still in the same hospital bed; although she gets to leave in a few hours. tyler has not left her side, except for the three concerts he had at night. he's been sleeping in the very tiny and uncomfortable green chair in the corner of the room. he's been eating hospital cafeteria food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. he has not left veronica and never plans to either. always making sure she falls asleep before him and he wakes up before her to be ready to help her get up to use the restroom and brush her teeth.

veronica was very thankful; but she felt bad. she was taking away from his time to chill out in columbus with his family. well, his family has been here for a few hours every day since this happened. they come to check on her and bring tyler a change of clothes. tyler's family is the sweetest and are quickly becoming veronica's family as well. veronica loves them all and they all love her.

"babe," veronica whispered to tyler who was sitting in the green chair holding her hand and watching the tv. veronica kept seeing his head bob down as he held back the sleep that wanted to take over. he's exhausted.

"huh?" he snapped his head into her direction. "what's wrong?" he leaned over to her worriedly, squeezing her hand.

she giggled, "nothing. but i have some news that the doctor gave me when you went to get food!" she cheered. she was trying to stay positive and happy when talking to tyler to make it less dreadful for him to be there. the only things getting her through this hospital was tyler and the enormous amount of watermelon she's consumed.

"what's the news?" he asked with a smile.

"i'm not allowed to travel for a week," she paused and bit her lip. "so i guess i'll be here in columbus for an extra week."

"what?!" tyler jumped up and pumped his fist in the air. "that's great news! i was so sad that you were supposed to leave tomorrow!"

"i guess you just can't get rid of me!" veronica laughed.

"i feel as though you should not go back to staying at your hotel veronica," kelly stated as they just finally left the hospital. kelly was picking her up because tyler was at the venue; his last columbus show was tonight. in about an hour actually.

"i'll be fine there kelly, i promise!" veronica said. well, she hopes she will be. "can you drop me off at the venue?"

"honey-"

"i know i shouldn't go out but i want to be there for tyler." she looked down, "i'll sit down the whole time i promise."

kelly nodded and chuckled. young love, she thought to herself. she made a turn and within six minutes arrived at the venue. "call me if you need anything at all. be safe." kelly said.

"i will. thank you for everything kelly!" veronica cheered as she slowly got out of the car and walked in. she found the security guards and explained who she was. they called mark up who immediately recognized her, obviously, and allowed her entry.

"how are you feeling, ronnie?" mark asked, concern filling his voice. he loves veronica like a little sister and would never wish for anything bad to happen to her.

"better now. thank you, marky mark!" she side hugged them as they entered backstage. the opening act was on right now so tyler and josh went on in about twenty minutes. she made her way to tyler's green room and knocked twice.

"one second," he said from the other side before making his way to the door and opening it. he gasped when he saw veronica. "ronnie!" he tackled her in a hug. he didn't know she was coming tonight but, boy was he glad. he was feeling extra anxious because it was the last show of the tour and they were ending an era. this was going to be his last show for who knows how long?
