"Yeah, I'm a bit dangerous, I can't even handle myself. Don't worry, my hands, they're only warm for you."

The day went by faster after the two songs were completed, so Namjoon and Rein spent most of the day talking, reading, and browsing social media from time to time. The studio felt calmer than when she worked to write lyrics for BTS, and maybe that was because of her different relationship with Namjoon, as she almost dreaded coming in because of him before.
She was unproductive around him, to simply put it. Now, she was just a little better about work management, but things other than nervousness deterred her from being as productive as possible.
Jimin came in periodically throughout the day to deliver snacks, and Taehyung tagged along with him sometimes, just to steal some. It seemed to be Jimin's hobby to harass Yoongi by taking off his headphones and chatting with him about what he did during the time he was away. (thirty minutes worth of content, at least)
Yoongi didn't have the heart to tell him to leave him alone, but he seemed to have no qualms with telling Taehyung to fuck off.
Hoseok was the first to notice Rein and Namjoon's questionable behavior other than Yoongi, who just rolled his eyes when this was brought to his attention.
"You guys are being awfully friendly with each other," Hoseok commented, wiggling his eyebrows. Namjoon laughed, maybe a little too loudly to sound natural.
"That's because we're friends. Maybe you should get some," he said, patting him on the shoulder. Hoseok flipped him off playfully and left the studio, looking between the two of them one last time before shutting the door.
It all felt so mundane, so normal, to be around them like this, like they had known each other for years beforehand and this was just a slice of life from the outside looking in. Rein surprised herself with how much she bonded with her fellow humans; she never took the time to do that with her LA companions, nor did she care to.
Guess they were just that special.
Rein admired the sky changing colors for a while in the afternoon, and when she checked her watch to see what time it was, she realized it was time to go home for the day. Yoongi was the first to pack up.
"I'm heading out," he said simply.
"You're usually the last one to leave," Rein said, confused. Yoongi shrugged.
"Eh. I'm finished with my beats. I'm gonna order some take-out and call it a day," he said as he put on his jacket and beanie, matting his now washed-out mint hair down.
"Have a good evening!" Rein called after him, then checked her watch again. She probably wanted to leave now if she wanted her driver to beat the rush-hour traffic.
"Is there anything else to do before I head out?" Rein asked, putting on her coat. Namjoon quirked an eyebrow, then motioned to the couch.
"I believe you owe me something after last time," he said as he stepped closer to her.
"I don't believe I owe you anything, Mr. Kim," she replied, but sat on the couch anyway, curious as to what he had planned. He sat next to her and put his hand on her thigh.
"So you weren't teasing me at all today?" he murmured, very close to her now. Rein's breathing became shallow.
"I have no idea what you're talking about." Namjoon chuckled, sending shivers down her spine.
