Taylor's pov.

I walked into the room with my phone in hand.

Walking to the window I threw my purse on the bed. I saw Ed's car down below. He was getting ready to leave. To go home with one of the sweetest girls i've ever met. I quickly saw her in the back seat. She was playing with my scarf. The one I told her to keep.

i walked away from the window not ready to break down yet.

"Why did you have to forget two of the most important people in your life?" I asked myself.

I decided to go through my purse not remembering what was in it.

My hands grasped a folded piece of paper. i pulled it out, opening it.

It was a drawing.

There was a picture of a house with three people in front of it. Flowers were growing out of the ground and the sun was shining from the top corner of the paper. Most importantly there was the writing of a five year old on the bottom.

"To mommy. i love you so much! Love Lily."

I set the picture down smiling. Searching through the purse some more i found a picture. Pulling it out I noticed it was a sonogram. The date on the bottom was from almost a year ago.

I sat on the bed, wondering whose baby it was. Lily was five and there were no other kids living with him. Austin wasn't married. Abigail?

I shrugged putting it down.

Lastly my hand fell on stickey note, I pulled it out also.

"Taylor, I love you so much! Have a good day at the studio. Love, Ed."

Reading it I felt the tears fall down my cheeks. Why was this happening to me?! Why did I have to forget them?! What did I do to deserve this?!

I cried and cried for what felt like hours. I cried until my eyes were dry I cried before i decided I needed to leave.

I needed to get away. I saw how hard it is for Ed, for Lily. It wasn't easy for me either. Waking up in a hospital and remembering everything except for your husband and daughter? It sucked.

I stood up and walked to the end table by the bed. Turning the note over i started writing.

"Dear Ed,..."

Ed's pov.

"You took my sister to a hotel?!" Austin screamed through the phone.

"Austin, she asked me to! Did you want me to tell her no?!"

"Yes!" He replied.

"If you're so worried about her why don't you just go get her yourself and take her to your house!"

"You know I can't do that!" He screamed louder.

"Not my problem." I said hanging up.

Lily came running into the room and hugged my leg. Crying.

"Baby what's wrong?" I asked picking her up.

"Mommy." She chocked on her words.

''What about mommy?" I asked trying to soothe her sobbing.

"S-shes gone daddy. Gone!''

Looking down at my little girl with confusion she burried hear head in my chest.

''Do you want to call her?" I asked.

"She won't answer daddy. She won't'' Lily cried.

I sighed putting Lily on the couch. I wiped her tears looking at her.

"She'll answer baby. And if she doesn't we'll go the hotel okay?"

She nodded and I dialed Taylor's number.

....

Voicemail.

"I told you!'' Lily said freaking out. "She's gone.''

I couldn't stand to see Lily cry anymore. I scooped her up in my arms and walked to the car. The ride was silent only consisting of small sniffles coming from the backseat.

Arriving at the hotel I picked Lily up in my arms.

"Do you want to knock?" I asked Lily trying to make her happy again. She nodded and pressed her small knuckles to the door. It swung open slowly on its own.

"Mommy?" She asked struggling to get out of my grasp. I set her down and smiled as she ran into the room to find taylor.

Only she ran back. She looked at me with a note in her hand and tears in her eyes.

"She isn't here."
