"Bye dad." I said hugging him.

"Bye Lily. I'll be at the hotel down the road if you need me'' He said.

"Okay." I replied as he shut the screen door.

"And please don't do anything stupid." He said giving me the look.

"Now why would she do anything stupid?" Taylor asked him.

"She's you're daughter that's why." He said shaking his head and walking to the car.

"Are you really that much like me?" She asked furrowing her eyebrows.

I shurgged laughing.

"Okay, we have a few hours left alone what do you want to do? Anything special?" She asked.

"There's nothing special I like to do. I'm not really special myself." I said looking up at her.

"Don't say that. There's something special about everyone." She said hugging me. I put my chin on her shoulder and tried to keep the tears in. I looked around the room behind her and gasped when something caught my eyes.

"What's wrong?" Taylor asked. I didn't reply and she followed my gaze to the guitar in the living room.

"C'mon." She said pulling me to the room. "Do you play?"

"Not really. I know some stuff from messing with dads guitar but he didn't like me playing with his."

"He didn't buy you your own?" She asked.

"No, I kept asking but i never got one."

"Well," She said. "I'll take you to get one."

"Really?!" I gasped jumping up.

"if it'll make you happy I will. I've always wanted to do that with a daughter." She answered.

"I'd love one."

"I'm home!" A voice yelled from the doorway.

"In here!" Taylor yelled. "That's my fiance Taylor Lau-"

"Oh my god!" I screamed as he walked into the kitchen.

"Well, hello to you too." He said smiling.

"Sorry." I said shying away.

"No worries." He said sticking out his hand. I shook it and smiled back.

"So," Mom started. "Lily was playing on my guitar today."

"Oh." He looked at me. "You play?"

"A little bit." I said.

"She was talking about how she always wanted a new one but never got one..." She trailed off.

"Well, that sounds like a good reason to get her one." He said.

"Really?!" I squealed jumping up.

"Sure, we can go right now." Taylor said as she grabbed the keys.
