Taylor's p. o. v.

"Hello." Ed said in his charming accent.

"Hi." I said stepping outside and closing the door.

"You look beautiful." He said kissing my hand.

"Thank you." I said as my cheeks burned red.

"I'm ho-" I turned around and saw Taylor standing behind us with a confused face. "What's going on?"

"Ed, offered to take me to dinner." I said gesturing to him.

"Oh. Like with all of us?" He asked.

"No. Just me and him." I said looking at the ground.

"Oh." He said pulling me away from Ed's hearing range. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" He asked me.

"I'm going out to dinner with a friend." I said looking him in the eye.

"Taylor I know he's much more than friend. You guys were married. You have a kid with him." he said.

"That was 8 years ago." I said turning back around.

"Listen to me." He said grabbing my arm tightly. "If anything happens on that date it will be the last time you will ever see him or your daughter ever again. I swear if I see any-"

"Nothing going to happen Taylor." I said pulling my arm away. "Goodbye." I spun back around and walked over to Ed. He was standing there trying to look busy on his phone.

"Everything okay?" He asked looking up at me.

"Yeah. Are you ready to go?" I asked changing the subject. He nodded and followed me to the car opening my door. I nodded and waited for him to get in on the drivers side. Looking in the rearview mirror I noticed taylor staring at us by the window.

"So where are we going?" I asked playing with the hem of the dress Lily picked out.

"You'll see." he said keeping his eyes on the road. I nodded to myself and played with my necklace to keep busy. Soon enough we were pulling into a parking lot of a restaurant. A very fancy restaurant. "Oh Ed." I said shocked.

"You like?" He asked grinning as he opened the door. I read the sign over and over. The Black Swan.

"How'd you remember?" I asked walking up the steps to the old wooden building.

"How could I forget? When you marry someone you usually remember where you went on your first date." He said opening the door.

"Wait." I stopped in my tracks. "This place has been closed down for years. How...?" I trailed off looking around.

"Let's just say that the owners daughter is a very very big fan." He said smiling at me. Escorting me to the only table in the room we sat down.

"Champagne?" A waiter asked filling out glasses. Behind him was another waiter carrying trays of food. Sitting it on the table they both walked away smiling.

"This is amazing Ed." I said looking around the old place. I looked everywhere. The corner where me and Ed had our first kiss. The small stage where Ed proposed. The old cracked dance floor that held thousands of memories.

"What's going on in that mind of yours?" He asked laughing.

"Oh, just thinking." I said smiling widely.

"Taylor, I've been thinking-"

"Stop Ed." I said cutting him off.

"I didn't even say anything." He said looking at me.

"I know what you're thinking." I said breathing deeply.

"No. You don't know anything about me anymore. You don't know how hard it was to watch you leave. You don't know how hard it was to tell Lily. You don't know anything anymore. And I'm sick and tired of being treated as the buy guy. Yeah, maybe I didn't tell Lily who her mother was. And maybe I didn't want her to come here but at least I was there for her! I didn't leave like you!" He screamed standing up.

"Don't you dare make this my fault Ed!" I said raising my voice.

"It is your fault Taylor! You ruined our family! You ruined everything we had together! Everything!'' He said storming outside.

"Don't walk away from me!" I yelled following him. He kept walking and i grabbed his shoulder. "Stop right now!"

"Did you think you could make this better?! Did you think all you had to do was invite Lily over and things would be okay?! Did you?!" He asked yelling.

"Yeah Ed, I did. I thought you were better than this. What happened to the real man I married?" I asked.

"He died when you left." He said tugging his shoulder out of my grip and walking away.
