Taylor's pov.

"Who are you?" He askes shining the light in my eyes.

"Taylor Swift." I said.

He scribbled something down in his notebook.

"How old are you?"

"24."

"Who is this?" He asked holding up a picture of Ed.

"That's one of my best friends." I said.

"And this?" He held up a picture of the little girl I saw earlier.

"Um, a fan?" I asked.

He stood up and looked at my mom and dad.

"Well, it looks like there was minor damage to the head, some memory loss. Other than that every thing looks good." He said.

I listened to his words. Memory loss? I hadn't lost any of my memory. Everything he asked me was answered correctly.

"What do you mean memory loss?" I asked.

They all looked at each other.

''I got this." Austin said.

My mom came over and kissed my head before leaving.

"What are they talking about?" I asked above a whisper. "Do you know where Ed went? It's very unusual that he left so sudden. Did you know he kissed me?"

"Ed and Lily left." He said.

Lily?

"Who is Lily? And why did Ed leave?"

"He left because he was upset."

"Why was he upset?"

"Because you forgot him." He said.

"What? I didn't forget him. How would I be asking about him now if I would of forgotten. And would you please tell me who that girl was." I asked.

''You forgot about part of Ed, Taylor."

I looked at him confused.

"Taylor, you've been married to him for five years. Lily is your daughter."

Marriage? Ed? Daughter? Lily?

"What have I done." I said in a whisper.

Ed's pov.

"Daddy." I heard a small voice say from the hallway.

"Lil'?" I called out.

I watched and listened as her head peeped around the door and her feet padded over to the bed.

She reached her arms up, just barely seeing over the bed. I pulled her close and she laid next to me.

"You lied to me." She said, small tears hitting my shirt.

I pulled her closer to me as my heart broke from the promise I made earlier.

"Shhhh." I quited her. "I'm sorry I broke my promise Lil'. I didn't know."

She looked up at me with her small delicate blue eyes.

"Why did we leave the hospital? Why did you say mommy didn't need us anymore?" She asked.

"Well, mommy doesn't remember neither of us. They said it's permanet."

"What does permanet mean?" She asked butchering the word.

"It mean that the small memory loss she has will last forver. She's never going to remember you."

She broke into sobs.

"What do we do now? What happens now that she doesn't need us?" She asked quietly.

"Nothing Lil'. We can't do anything now." I said.

"We can't wait?" She asked like before.

I sighed with tears falling.

"Not this time."
