'I have to protect Kaidou.' Saiki resolved to himself as he walked home. He glanced at the girl who was happily walking a few feet in front of him. What were you planning? What on earth was AFO? Why did you need test subjects, and how did Kaidou's obsession make him such a good candidate? He continued to question until he noticed you run off into a small apartment complex. Was this where you lived...?
Saiki hadn't meant to follow you, he was only walking home after the ramen meeting he had with his friends. You coincidentally walked the same way. Still, it wasn't awkward, because you didn't know of Saiki's presence. Saiki needed to make sure you weren't planning anything bad, so...
He slinked to the side of the housing complex. He used his x-ray vision to look through the wall, since his telepathy had some problems when it came to you. He saw you excitingly opening a package, taking out a pile of manga.
'So she really is just a wannabe...' Saiki sighed as he went to leave. He walked off home, relieved you were just a mere otaku. Those unusual thoughts were probably a snippet of some fantasy. He entered his house. Still, the barrier that locked him from your thoughts was beyond strange, and he still needed to know why that was there. He teleported directly to his room once he had taken off his shoes, landing on his bed.
He used clairvoyance to find you.
"...What the heck!? AFO doesn't have explanations!!" You groaned angrily. You hurried off to your computer. "I need to know things about it, otherwise it won't work!"
'What's this...? What won't work?'
You googled 'All for One', then clicked on a wiki and started to look around. Once again, there wasn't much info. You grumbled angrily. Saiki raised an eyebrow. Was this something about an anime...?
"...What a pain. Looks like AFO is a bust. If I don't know how it's used specifically, I can't do shit... Guess I'll just create my own character." You mumbled to yourself. You went on to start writing.
'So it was all just for a fanfiction? Good grief.' Saiki sighed mentally. He kept his stare on Y/N, reading her works. It was about a girl. Rand Omgirl, a simple-minded, emotionless 10-year-old. She was revealed to be able to take powers and give them to people at will. Though, since the world was superpower-less, she had no way to use her power. Until she meets a boy called Wannabe Hero, another simple kid. He was cheerful and not so sharp or deep.
Saiki left Y/N alone, deciding to check up on her later. Her writing was good, very detailed when it came to describing powers, but otherwise extremely rushed. It's like the powers were the main characters instead of the actual characters. She was probably just horrible with naming characters and plots...
Saiki did some homework, had dinner, some other things to take precautions, and then came back. It was around time to go to bed by now. He used clairvoyance once more to reveal Y/N hadn't moved from the same spot, still writing her story.
'She's dedicated.' He noted, skimming over the page. Some drama about Wannabe Hero losing his power without realizing. Rand Omgirl had revealed she took it, and was explaining her power in further detail. She revealed how it worked, how it had been a trait from birth and how she first discovered it. The main focus was on how it worked, once again suggesting the powers were the main characters. Y/n suddenly stopped, a large smirk on her face.
"Alright!" She grinned, stretching. She scrolled to the start of her story, a firm look in her eyes. They seemed to glow with determination as she leaned forward to the computer screen, smirking widely. "Let's learn."
She then skimmed through the story as quick as she could, stopping to read the detailed descriptions. They were great, even Saiki could admit that. Saiki also noticed that Wannabe Hero was literally just Kaidou. She took her own take on Kaidou's powers, though.
The power was a dark, fiendish one, that made his eyes glow red with use. It was deadly, and with one wrong move, it could all be set loose. If unveiled, dark veins would riddle his arms, expanding into streaks of black and covering his hand completely. The darkness would coat his fingers and hand completely, fading as it trailed up his arm, emitting a dark mist. The coat of black would strengthen him. The darkness could expand and shift to different parts of his body, strengthening them all, though his arm was always coated. They could even create wings. Jet-Black wings, along with two other things: black destructive beams or a deadly sword. When the arm was covered up, the darkness would retreat, sealed completely. Without being sealed, it could cause destruction. It was uncontrollable, influenced by emotions. With more power, it'd send white electric sparks that glowed black to surround his arm and other areas that contained the deadly power.
Basically, it was edgy as fuck.
The power-taking power was also very detailed. It described the sensations of taking powers and giving them. Rand Omgirl merely had to touch someone to give or take powers. There wasn't much to say about it. There were no visuals, and it was pretty simple. The devastation it had the potential to cause in a world of superpowers, however... Not so much.
Finally, Y/N had finished reading the text. Saiki struggled to keep up with her speed, but when she came to the power descriptions, she slowed down. What, was this girl a superpower freak? Why was she so into superpowers? She finally finished reading. Y/N started to giggle, which turned into full-blown laughter. Saiki was unnerved.
"I DID IT!" She yelled. She skipped to the center of her room, "Now, for the testing..."
Y/N let out a breath, holding her arm straight before her as her eyes widening with a piercing look. Suddenly, veins of darkness started to streak through her arm. Saiki gasped. The black expanded, coating her arm in darkness. It let off a dark, wispy smoke, causing her to grin, twisting her arm before her, admiring the darkness.
"Yes... Yes! I've got it! I've got Kaidou's power!" She laughed, extending her hand to the sky with a large smile. The black slithered down her arm, consuming it further. She quickly grabbed a random shirt that was sprawled out on the floor and tied her hand, using her teeth to tighten one end, her free hand for the other, letting the darkness retreat into the confines. She thought, happily admiring her work, 'If that worked, the rest of Kaidou's powers should, too. I had a general image when creating them so even the gaps I missed will be filled. The power transmitter worked too, so...'
Clasping her wrist and holding her tied arm close to herself, she smiled. "...Alright, let's do this. I think it's ready. Test Subject Kaidou, get ready for your life to change!"
Saiki let go of his clairvoyance, gulping. She somehow brought those powers she wrote about to life. She was powerful, and she planned to give some of her powers to one of the most wimpish, irresponsible and insane boys on earth.
'...I need to stop her.'
