Hey, Kaidou." You smiled, sitting in front of the boy. It was break. You needed to figure out the boy's schedule before anything else... He looked slightly flustered, surprised you sat by him.

"A-Ah, hello, L/n." He greeted. You leaned back in your chair, rocking backward, hands in your hoodie pockets. You never took the thing off. Well, at least when you were wearing your uniform you didn't.

"So, you're friends with Saiki." You spoke, your eyes sharpening at the mention of his name. "How close are you? Tell me."

'Oh no, L/N's trying to take Saiki down! L/N, you're really nice, but I can't allow you to do that!' Someone thought. You could clearly tell by the voice; Teruhashi. She walked over with a smile.

"Ah, are you talking about Saiki?" She smiled, grabbing another chair and sitting on the third side. Kaidou was clearly more flustered.

"Y-Y-YES!" He stuttered. Wow, Teruhashi was crazy good.

"You asked me a question about him earlier too, L/N. You seem pretty interested in him!" She laughed. 'Now you'll back off!! Know if you continue, the whole school will think you have a crush on him! I'm doing this for both of your own goods. To protect Saiki from L/N and to save L/N from humiliation! I'm such a good person...'

"Oh, yeah. Well, actually... I just wanted to find someone close to him so I could find out..." You trailed off. You needed to take off suspicion you were trying to take him down, and the suspicion that you liked him. The two leaned in, curious. "What are those things in his head?"

"...Oh. That's all you wanted to know? They're just pins." Kaidou shrugged.

"Ah, is that it? I thought he was a radio or something, maybe a robot. Nevermind then... So he's just a normal kid?" You sighed, your eyes glinting at Kaidou despite your disappointed outer. He gulped.

"Ah, yeah." He confirmed. You read his mind to confirm he was telling the truth. You let out a sigh. Seems like you'd get no info here... Who else would know about his powers?

'Good grief. I can't tell what she's planning; her thoughts are all locked away...' Saiki sighed. Now you were on guard, your thoughts were completely barricaded. How? You didn't really know. It was the end of the day and Saiki was returning to the classroom after taking a quick trip to the vending machine. Most people had left.

You may have made those powers when you tried to make sure aliens weren't coming to get your mind...? Your older brother told you tricked you into thinking aliens were everywhere, so naturally, you wrote a whole story about aliens and a person with the power to protect their thoughts and secrets, and also not to be brainwashed. The person defeated the aliens in the end. You did this only to take that ability. It was the first time you did the create-own-character-and-take-ability trick, and you thought it didn't work. Until now.

Still, Saiki was annoyed. He didn't know your next move. You were just as troublesome as his brother... Saiki entered the classroom. He scanned to the room to see you sitting on your desk, phone in hand, smirking at him. His stare pointed. He sighed, walking over to his seat and taking all his things. He left and you followed.

"Are you planning something?" He asked, glancing back at you in the corner of his eye. You simply smiled brightly.

"Nah, not right now. So those are the only two that know? That's sucky. I don't think I'll get any info from them, since they're your lackeys, and it'd probably be against the rules." You sighed. You bit your cheek, thinking of ways to somehow overthrow Saiki.
