Twenty Seven

Finally, you all made it back to the camp.

Hairo was first, of course. When he was that pumped up he could probably beat the world records for running (and you were pretty sure he already had). You came along shortly after, seeing that karaoke had just ended. When you first came in the camp, people were questioning Hairo, looking confused or concerned. And then, the girls saw you.

Instantly running over, they bombarded you with questions. You found it confusing at first; if they were so concerned, why had they been doing karaoke? But after listening to their questions, it was easy to infer that they thought the four of you (Including Saiki, since he had woken up before everyone) had gone out, and only just realized that you were actually stuck in a pit with the two boys after Hairo told everyone. They doted on you for the rest of the day, which you weren't complaining about.

And when asking Aiura why she didn't find it weird that you come back last night...

"Oh, I thought you'd maybe gone to a guy's room to have some fun and spend the night." She said nonchalantly, causing you and the other girls to splutter in shock. She laughed.

Also, as he took his powers back and reversed time on your body to prevent you from hitting your head like that, Saiki asked what happened with Hairo. You told him he wanted to ask to be friends and such, and wanted to ask about what he'd said in the forest, but he'd left by the time you worked up the courage to.

Also, Saiko kept looking at you, almost guilty. That was weird. You'd ask later.

And then, it was the next day.

You made breakfast for yourselves, you trying to help out Hairo and Kaidou with their cooking (though, they did everything you told them not to accidentally as soon as you turned around), and finally went on to the activity for today!

Chosen by the second smartest class, most of whom wore glasses, it was...!

Glasses... Cleaning...??

You paled, watching in shock as people trudged back and forth with boxes of glasses, miserable. What kind of activity was this?! Even your camp leader looked appalled...! This was no way to spend your last day at the camp!! How were you even meant to win a thing like this?!

"Saiki..." You muttered to the boy as he took a box-full of glasses. He turned to you questioningly, and you responded to his look with your own, filled with horror. "We have to escape."

"No," he said, and you whined.

"What?? You want to stay here?! Cleaning glasses for hours?! Come on, where's the competition in this, the fun??" You complained.

"It's peaceful." He sighed, exhausted from the last three days. "Much better than everything else that has happened on this trip..."

"Aw, come on. We could go to that coffee jelly place you stole my ticket to winning the scavenger hunt over!" You exclaimed, and he looked interested. You continued, grinning, "And we could bring everyone else too, maybe visit the docks or something, and-"

He looked less interested. You decided to stop talking; it was best to leave it at coffee jelly.

"Anyway, for the coffee jelly, then. But I think if enough of us go, we could avoid getting in trouble for this, so help me tell everyone we're gonna escape soon, okay?" You grinned.

"Huh? What's this about escaping?" Toritsuka said right next to your ear suddenly, and you jumped, seeing that he was leaned over your shoulder and listening into your conversation. You huffed.

"Sheesh, don't do that. We wanna get out of here, go to the docks or something. You'll come too, right?" You asked.

"Of course! You think I wanna do this?!" He said, motioning to the glasses exaggeratedly.
