Twenty Five

"Haaah, I'm so tired..." Aiura sighed, arm slung over you as you walked back to your dorms.

"You'll be even more tired tomorrow. The sporty class is choosing what to do next." You commented, laughing. Aiura sighed.

The scavenger hunt had ended, with a very unsatisfying result. You'd lost, and now you and the other girls were heading back. You were a little later than the rest of the classing, having stopped for snacks. Aiura whined, leaning over you toward Chiyo, "Ahh, that sucks. Chiyo-pipi~ Feed me~"

"Here you go, Aiura." Chiyo smiled, feeding her a biscuit from her packet. She sighed, "I'm feeling kinda tired, too..."

"Was I really going so fast?" Kokomi asked, slightly concerned, and Chiyo nodded furiously.

"Yeah! You're so sporty, Kokomi. I could barely keep up." Chiyo whined.

"...And my partner was Hairo..." Aiura muttered, and everyone looked at her with shock, and winced at the thought of keeping up with that human energy drink.

"W-Wow... You okay, Aiura?" Chiyo gulped.

"Do you need a massage or anything??" You asked with concern.

"Oh! I have an idea!" Kokomi exclaimed, and you all turned to her with interest. "How about we head to the hot springs?"

"Huh? There are hot springs here?? Of course, let's go!" Aiura exclaimed, suddenly energized. Chiyo and yourself had the same reaction, excited.

"Okay, let's go!"

You headed to the hot springs. There was only one, which meant they changed who was allowed to bathe each day, and today it was women's. You also noticed that there wasn't a lot of staff, apart from a sleeping teen at the counter - probably the owner's daughter, you'd guessed.

Going to the locker room and washing yourselves off, as well as putting your hair up, you were finally ready to enter the hot spring. You all headed out, seeing the peaceful atmosphere of the large body of water. It was empty, surprisingly, but maybe it was because it was a work/school day.

Immediately, Aiura threw off her towel and yelled, "WOOO!"

"Aiura...! This is a hot spring, not a pool!" Chiyo scolded quietly while Aiura laughed. You took Aiura's discarded towel and put it to the side of the water. You did the same with your own, casually going to walk in the water and noticing everyone's surprised stares.

"Jeez, don't stare at me." You laughed, letting yourself slowly dip into the water and sigh contently.

"Ehh? I just thought you'd be the embarrassed type when it came to these sorts of things, not the type to walk around so freely~" Aiura said, pushing herself through the water to sit next to you. You shrugged.

"I mean, it's a hot spring. It's normal. Plus, we had a full outdoor one back home! The best one I've ever been to, we used to go all the time! The lady that owned it was really dedicated - she didn't use chlorine and kept it all-natural. She cleaned it out every day by hand. We helped out sometimes." You grinned, and the girls 'oooh'ed with interest. By now, Chiyo and Kokomi had gotten into the hot spring, though they'd done it so quick you hadn't even seen. Surprisingly shy of them.

"Wow, really? Maybe we can go someday." Chiyo suggested, the other girls nodding. You laughed awkwardly, and quickly changed the subject without responding.

"Anyway, any ideas for what you want our class to do for our camp activity? We're picking tomorrow." You mentioned.

"Ooh, I was thinking karaoke!" Chiyo said, and the other two girls seemed interested.
