It was after school, and you were going to get ramen. Though you needed to get to know people, you sort of wanted to leave.

'HHUGHHGGHHGHH I want to go home...' You sighed mentally. Saiki raised an eyebrow. People usually sigh attractively in their heads, not try to sound like a dying whale... Saiki gathered his things and tried to leave before anyone could approach him, but as usual, Nendo came over.

"Hey, let's get ramen! You guys, c'mere, let's go!" He called to the class members. You packed up and walked over along with the others. Soon, their whole squad, plus you, were walking down to a random ramen shop. You looked around in wonder. Wow, there was so much electric stuff around here! Wires and cars, so many roads... Well, you always saw it on TV and stuff, and there were wires in your hometown (Just not so many, mostly supported by wood), but there certainly weren't poles everywhere with random metal boxes and wires going along buildings and poles. Nor were there metal streetlamps or cars and concrete roads.

You couldn't believe you were gonna live here. It was awesome! You went to the city a couple of times for things like shopping for clothes on your birthday or something, but nothing more than that, considering how far it was. There were plenty of farms and weavers in your village, so that wasn't really needed, but you still went and shopped in the town on occasion because it was a nice change of environment.

You all walked into the ramen shop. Mera suddenly rushed off, saying she had work... Why did she even come? The shop was a small place and reminded you of home. You decided to come here if you ever felt homesick. You all sat down at a large table.

"Seven bows of ramen, please!" Nendo called, raising his arm. The cook nodded and got to work. You watched him in the open kitchen for a moment. The hygiene looked okay... You watched the conversation on the table.

'Okay, so the goof is Nendo, the embarrassed silver-haired kid is Kendo...'

'Wrong. It's Kaidou.' Saiki sighed mentally.

'The pretty girl's Yumehar-- No, Takashi. Wait, no, Takahashi.'

'Wrong, again. That's a completely different person... She's Teruhashi.' Saiki sighed once again.

'The other girl is Yumehara. And the one who left was Mera. The purple haired guy is uhm, Kuba...Yasu? Kuboyasa? Kubayasa? Kuboyiso?'

"Kuboyasu, there's something in your hair." Kaidou pointed out.

"Oh, is there? A wood chip? Where'd that come from?" He sighed, flicking it away.

'Alright, Kuboyasu. Then, the pink haired kid... His name was partner. Or was it buddy...? What were his parents trying to do, name a dog?'

'Dammit, Nendo. Good grief, because of Nendo's nickname, she thinks my name is partner... She'll probably learn later, though.' Saiki mentally sighed.

'Huh. So far I'm hoping for either Terukakashi, Nendo, or uh... Determination radiator to be my testings. Well, that's if AFO even works...'

What was AFO?! At this point, Saiki was getting annoyed. Your thoughts always cut off, sinking into the barrier he could not pass, a new string of thought emerging. How annoying. Well, at least he knew one thing. You were terrible with names.

That was true. Your power automatically deactivated when it came to names. Any other information? Memorized. But their names? Nope. How disappointing. You could make an effort to learn, similar as you did with learning new powers, but other than that? Nah. But you knew them all now, so you wouldn't let go... Hopefully.

"So, L/N, what do you think about the school so far?" Kuboyasu asked, trying to strike up a conversation once he realized you had been left out. He sat across you, sitting cross-legged on his chair. Wasn't he meant to be an intellectual glasses-guy...? He acted more like a delinquent. You shrugged.

"It's decent." You shrugged. The ramen came around right after and you all started to dig in. It was surprisingly good. "Oh, this is great."

"Isn't it?" Nendo grinned, slurping up his ramen messily. People shielded their own bowls from the splatters of soup. You continued to talk for a while, people starting to ask about you once again. You were slightly fed up with the questioning, and really didn't like talking so much.

"Well, I've said quite a bit about myself already, how about all of you? Tell me, I'm curious~" You grinned. 'Alright, here we go. I'll find the right candidate right here and now.'

Saiki decided he wouldn't talk. Especially after hearing that thought.

"Me first! Me!!" Nendo yelled boisterously. "I'm Nendo Riki! I've got a mom!! I like ramen!! I have a hamster!"

A moment of silence passed by, signaling that Nendo's introduction was done.

"...Nice job, Nendo. Alright, I'm Kuboyasu. I don't like rude people. I like motorcycles." He said, deciding to omit anything about gangs.

"I'll go next!" Chiyo announced, bringing all eyes to her. "My name is Yumehara Chiyo-"

"And I like... Well..."

She glanced 'secretly' at the silver-haired boy who was more focused on his ramen than anything else. She blushed.

"...And I dislike... Uhmmm..." She thought for a moment, and nothing really came to mind, apart from her exes. "Sorry, don't really know, haha."

"That's fine, Chiyo!" Teruhashi smiled. The guys blushed. "I'll go next! I'm Teruhashi Kokomi! I enjoy being with friends, and many other things! And dislike... Hm..." She trailed off, thinking to herself. "I'm not so sure what I dislike... Ah, I guess I just like everything!" She smiled.

'That sorta cute tho.'

"I'll go next..." The silver-haired boy started darkly. You raised an eyebrow. What the heck? Was this boy not just blushing and panicking just a few minutes ago?? "I am The Jet-Black Wings. I must keep my arm under wraps at all times to seal the dark force that dwells in my right arm. I must keep it protected at all costs to defend against Dark Reunion, an organization that is trying to steal the power..." He ranted, continuing on. A large grin was stretched across your face, others staring questioningly. Your eyes were trained on the boy and his rapid movements, taking in every ounce of his story as he rambled on about something called 'Dark Reunion' and his 'deadly powers'. He was clearly delusional, and that was perfect.

'This is it. I found my test subject!'
