You quickly fixed your tie as you ran to school, hair jumbled and messy and uniform overall unneat. You were extremely tired, but also late.

You somehow accidentally turned off your alarm, meaning you were about to be late. You didn't know how it turned off, but left with no time to investigate, you rushed to get ready instead. Honestly, you were shocked you could even be late. You were super smart, and never late, so what happened now? And why did your alarm even turn off in the first place??

You ran around the corner, and there you almost smashed into Teruhashi.

"Y-Y/n? What's the rush?" She asked, confused. You had skidded to a halt before actually hitting her, luckily. You stared at her in disbelief.

"What do you mean, Kokomi?! We're late!" You yelled. How could she be so relaxed when there was only two minutes until school?!

You had an internal clock, or something like it. Your mind basically had a clock in the background; ticking away at all times, but not using any focusing power. Then, if you ever needed the time, you'd just know. You did need to 'set' it in the mornings, though, so you needed to check your phone for the time (seconds, too) before you could tell specific time without a clock. You could probably just have your clock run throughout the night and set up some sort of mental-alarm if you tried enough, which you were now considering, since your actual alarm was apparently not trustworthy.

"W-We're late...?!" Teruhashi gasped, now panicked. 'Y/N is super smart, she can't have got the time wrong, could she?!'

"Yeah! I--"

Before you could continue, your alarm went off. You furrowed your eyebrows, bringing out your phone, and seeing that it was an hour earlier than what you thought. You gaped at the screen, and the message under your still-going alarm read:

'Haha, got you Y/N. I am superior :)'

There was only one person you knew who could mess with your phone. The smartass: Kusuke. You had to restrain from smashing your phone.

Yeah, you definitely needed to make your own mental alarm.

"...I'm going to bed." You sighed as you turned off the alarm, all the adrenaline now dispersed from your body with the knowledge that there was no rush. Teruhashi looked confused.

"A-Ah, Y/N!" She called, and you turned with a tired expression. "Do you want to walk to school together? Since we're not late, right?"

You raised an eyebrow at her request, deciding to read her mind. 'She must be super honored to be with a super cute girl like me! And I get to hang with a friend!'

You smiled at her thoughts, ignoring the first bit, "Okay, let's go. And yeah, we're not late. My mistake, haha."

You went to walk off, fixing your uniform on the way. Teruhashi helped out a bit, then congratulating herself in her head shortly after. You rolled your eyes and continued to walk, until...

"What's with all the busses?" You asked, eyebrows furrowed. A bunch of busses were lined up on the road, and they even went around the corner. You were confused. "No one said anything about field days, right?"

"Didn't you get the notification?" Kokomi asked, and you raised an eyebrow. "We're going on a class trip!"

"H-Huh?? When are we going?" You asked, and she laughed.

"Today!"

"But... I didn't get the letter!" You protested, and then sighed. What was wrong with you today? First you got fooled by Kusuke, and now you were ignoring things in class?? Even when you daydreamed, information was always absorbed.
