"Ahhh, that was great!" Nendo spoke gruffly, stretching out his limbs. You nodded.

"Definitely." You agreed. That ramen place was great; it really did remind you of home. Kaidou nodded, agreeing. "So what are you guys gonna do now? Head straight home?"

"My mom's got a surprise at home! I'm gonna go see it! See you guys!" Nendo called, somehow already halfway down the road. It sort of shocked you both, and you stood around for a few seconds. What a quick exit of a character...

"A-ah, uhm, what about you?" You asked Kaidou, and he shrugged.

"Uhm, not really sure... I planned to stay longer, but uh..." He mumbled. Your eyes glinted.

You needed to contribute to the plan in some way.

"Hey, how about we go find Saiki? I'm kind of curious as to where he disappeared to." You shrugged. He nodded.

"Oh, okay." He nodded, and you went to walk off.

Did you have some sort of illusion power? No... You could give your own shield to Kaidou so you he approach Saiki without being detected, but then your own thoughts would be completely unguarded. Saiki would know you were up to something instantly. But...

'Saiki, are you in your body?' You asked mentally. He huffed angrily.

'Please, take this power away from me. Apparently, my body got the same telepathic message as you, because it just touched me before the hour was up and left. At this rate, I may be stuck out my body forever.'

'Oh, okay. Where are you?'

'My house. My body's eating coffee jelly, and I don't even get to taste it.'

'Hahaha, be right there.'

"How about we check his house?" You asked.

"Ah, we checked there before..." Kaidou mumbled, scratching his head awkwardly. He glanced to the side, unable to make eye contact. Suddenly, his eyes widened. "What if this is a scheme by Dark Reunion?! They must have taken Saiki! No way, the thing I saw before was real...!!"

"Eh? What thing you saw before?" You asked, curious to see if he would genuinely reply. You knew what he was talking about; the act Saiki had done in class earlier.

"A-Ah, nothing..."

"Eh, okay. Come on, let's go." You said, walking toward Saiki's house.

'Why is he here?!' Saiki yelled, using his telepathy. You were now at his house.

'You know why.'

'...Good grief, L/N...' Saiki sighed, having realized that Kaidou was here for the bet. 'I could just leave.'

'That leaves your body unguarded.' You smirked.

'My body is too smart to be tricked by you.' He retorted at once.

'Well, that hurts... But I'll figure something out. You can go.' You taunted, trying to make it so he felt his body was too unsafe to leave. That way, you could somehow get Kaidou to see him! Hopefully.

'Now I'm suspicious... I'll stay, but only to protect my body. Kaidou won't see me."

'Think you're forgetting that your powers don't affect the real world when in that state-'

"L/N?" Kaidou asked, and you jumped in surprise. You realized you had been thinking and standing still.

"A-Ah, sorry, Kaidou... Spaced out for a bit there, haha." You laughed awkwardly. He seemed confused, but nodded. You rang the doorbell, then waited for a few moments. Saiki's mother opened the door.
