You groaned as you woke up, instantly feeling the ache of your back and the drowsiness plague your mind. You must have slept for a really long time. You opened your eyes as you finally got yourself to sit up, seeing nothing other than...

A dirt wall.

"Ah. We're still in here." You sighed, looking up to the sky. The walls of the pit obstructed only the sides of your vision, and you mentally cursed whoever had made this pit in the first place. You really had expected to get rescued. Looking at Hairo and Nendo, both of which were sprawled out all over the place and snoring deeply, you sighed. "If I was going to be wrong about waking up in bed tomorrow, I could have at least ended up in a more dramatic place instead. It would have been cooler if we got kidnapped..."

While you were trying to look at the sun to tell the time - having learned to do so when you were in elementary school and always hung out by the sundial - Hairo woke up.

He stretched out first, yawning deeply, making you realize that he was awake. He scratched the back of his neck as he looked around, processing that he was still in the pit, before seeing you.

"Oh, L/n, you're awake?" He asked. You internally laughed at his bed head, before nodding and getting back to the real issue.

"Yep. We should really be getting out of this place. It's 10 o' clock - we must have slept a lot to recover from that marathon..." You reasoned, sighing.

You really were confused. Did the girls not notice you were gone? What about Aiura, who was literally your roommate? And then Kaidou, Kuboyasu, or especially Saiki, not noticing Nendo was gone? And then the whole class didn't miss the presence of Hairo, who was probably one of the most prominent members of your class?? You were confused, and concerned.

"Yeah, I need to go on my morning run!" Hairo exclaimed, suddenly springing up. You didn't understand how he had that much energy... You laughed at his behaviour, then looked to the top of the pit.

"Well, we better get out of this place first, then. Any ideas?" You asked. He shrugged.

"We tried jumping yesterday, but I passed out at 8 and I'm sure Nendo must have followed what we were doing after... We should try more! We can do it!!" He exclaimed fierily, and you sweatdropped. You looked down at Nendo, who you probably would have thought was dead if not for his loud snoring, and noticed the backpack that was still on his front.

"Uh, maybe we should try something new. By the way, what's in Nendo's backpack?" You asked, and Hairo shrugged.

"Let's check!" He exclaimed.

After a little bit of struggling, you finally shoved Nendo over and took the backpack off his front - a weird way to wear a backpack you'd admit.  You were surprised he hadn't woken up. After checking inside, you saw a first-aid kid, and some food.

"Huh. This is helpful." You said, getting out some tinned food and other things sealed in plastic. There were also some sandwiches, but they were soaked, since you were doing a triathlon...

"And the first aid kit too! We can patch up your shoulder!" Hairo exclaimed happily, and you quickly waved your hands in protest!

"Oh- No! It was barely a bruise, and it got better over the night. It wasn't anything serious, promise." You said. He looked suspicious for a moment, before nodding.
