You jogged to the school, looking around frantically for a large crowd of frozen people. If you found that, you knew Teruhashi was near. You eventually got to the classroom, and found Teruhashi sitting in the middle, plenty of people looking her way. She waved at you politely.
'Alright, let's make this girl's day by waving! Ah, she must be so happy to have a friend like me!' She thought. You paled.
'...This is the true Teruhashi...?'
You walked over and smiled, taking a chair from the chair in front and grinning.
"Hm? What is it, L/N?" She asked, tilting her head. She thought, 'Perhaps she's too nervous to talk? Is that it? Oh, you poor girl, don't worry. I'll solve your problems with my beauty and grace! I'll be the perfect pretty girl for you!'
"Do you like Saiki?"
'OMDSOQWMIDWD HOW DID SHE KNOW?!'
Plenty of others listened in, and she shook her head and hands defensively, a light blush on her cheeks. "No, no, of course not! He's just a friend!"
"Oh." You sighed. You looked around, seeing the people around you, and decided to clear his name since they might think you were asking for Saiki's sake, "Hmm... Do you like anyone, then? I'd ask about Kaidou and Nendo, but, uh..."
"Yeah, I get what you mean... And no, sorry, L/N. I'm afraid I don't like anyone right now." She smiled, to the relief of many of the boys listening in the background. You nodded.
"Ah, I see. Anyway, moving on from that, how was your day yesterday?" You smiled. She started to talk, and you nodded along, smiling brightly. Yumehara walked in and joined in, then Mera. You all conversed, and then you saw Saiki.
You sent him a dark glare, causing Kaidou to let out a squeak, for a moment believing the glare was directed at him. Saiki sent you a sharp look back, and Kaidou let out a sigh of relief once he realized he wasn't being glared at.
"...D-Did you... anger L/N, yesterday?" Kaidou whispered to Saiki. He shook his head.
"We just have a little challenge going on right now..." He replied. Saiki walked to his chair and you returned to your conversation. Teruhashi was staring at Saiki, confused.
'L-L/n... glared at Saiki? At first, I thought that she was merely asking because I slipped up somewhere, but then Saiki came in, and they made eye contact! I thought that Saiki might have asked, which made me happy, but then... They shared a glare! A vicious one!! Oh my, could this be because of me?! Has my beauty perhaps torn them apart before they could even connect? Does L/N... Like me?!'
'No, you freaking... Oh my god...' You cringed mentally, backing out from Teruhashi's line of thought. You merely talked further about the classes today. You had P.E. soon... That sounded fun.
Classes started up, and you reluctantly went to your seat.
'Well? Did I win the bet?' Saiki asked mentally, causing you to jump slightly. No one noticed, thankfully. You smirked.
'Nope. When did you agree? I'm changing the bet before you do.'
'What? You can't do that.'
'I can. My win is worse than yours, after all. Plus the bet was never in action; you left before that.'
Saiki thought back to last night's interaction with you, before realizing you were right. He never actually agreed to the bet. You hummed thoughtfully.
'Alright, how about this? Let's involve Kaidou into our little bet, since he's the main prize. For me, at least. We're both gonna try to expose the other's powers to him whilst protecting our own.'
'...I'm listening.'
'No blatantly going up to him and just saying it. You have to somehow get him to find out about the other's powers. It'll be for about... A month. Oh, and no brainwashing from you. Or any other dream-influencing power you have. Don't play dirty or else you won't win.'
'Who'll judge whether we're 'playing dirty' or not?'
'Me.'
'No way. There are other psychics in this school. We'll tell them about this bet and have them make some fair rules.'
'...Alright. Let's do that.'
'Meet on the rooftop staircase. I'll tell them.' Saiki proceeded to tell the psychics to meet up. He then got to copying down notes to make up for the time spent talking with you, while you sighed, already knowing all of this knowledge the teacher attempted to feed you.

"So you're the new chick?" A purple-haired male smirked. He, too, was in your class. The circle class thingy... Did Saiki somehow make everyone get into the same class? How come they were all friends?
Eh, whatever. Best not question it.
You were at the top of a staircase, one not many people went up. There were some closed doors to the roof. You were having a mini-meeting.
"That's right." You nodded. He smirked, putting an arm around your shoulders. He opened his mouth to start flirting, but the girl cut him off.
"Try to ignore that weirdo. He'll only confuse you with his dumbness." Aiura scoffed. You raised an eyebrow, shrugging off his arm.
"Got it."
"H-Hey, wait, don't make her think I'm a bad person!" Toritsuka said panickedly.
"But you are a bad person." Saiki deadpanned as they continued to argue. "Anyway." He continued, shutting them up. "Me and L/N have are having a bet."
"A bet?" The two chorused, glancing at both you and the strawberry-haired boy.
"Yes. Us two are facing off to see who will be exposed first. We've got to reveal the other person's special abilities to Kaidou. No blatantly telling him, and no using underhand methods like brainwashing. You'll be the judges. When one of us wins, you decide whether those methods were correct. If a month passes, and none of us win, it'll be a tie." He explained.
"Hmm... Just to be sure, both of you can use your powers, just not directly on him? So no like brainwashing on him or whatever?" Aiura explained. You nodded. "Alright! Let's do this bet!!"
"Yeah!" Toritsuka agreed, not really understanding but still joining in on the cheer.
"Alright, Saiki. What do you say to my challenge?" You smirked.
"It's a deal." He said, shaking your hand. You teleported off, a skill you had learned from Saiki. Now... How the hell were you gonna do this...?
Maybe you should have chosen a better bet... Like who'd get the most fanfiction views. This was going to be a pain...
