Ross Point of View

The sun was shining on my face and a smile grew across my face. "What a night." I thought to myself with a smile. I opened my eyes and looked next to me. Sophie wasn't there. I was confused. Where did she go? I got a little bit worried. "I hope she isn't embarrassed or even regret last night. I definitely don't." I thought to myself.

I got up to look for her. When I was walking down the stairs I could hear some guitar music playing outside. Around the corner I saw her sitting in a chair with my guitar on her lap and playing some music. She only wore my Shirt from last night and her long beautiful legs were showing. I couldn't help it, but smiled again.

The music shifted into another song and I recognised it as soon as it started. I walked outside on the porch, but she didn't hear me coming. She just looked at the waves crushing on the shore and the sun rising. It was beautiful. But I could only see her, in my shirt, deep in thoughts, messy hair but still the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.

I started to sing to the music she was playing.

I can sail around the whole world,

still won't find a place,

as beautiful as you girl,

and really who's got time to waste?

I can't even see a future,

Without you, any colour starts to fade

Ain't no way I'm gonna lose ya,

Nobody in the world could ever take your place.

No the kind you can't replace.

She started to smile as soon as she heard my voice but didn't stop playing. She looked at me with the most beautiful smile I've ever seen and a sparkle in her eyes. I had butterflies in my stomach.

Yeah, I can never get enough!

Baby I'd give it all up up,

I'd give it all up, if I can't be with you.

All of this stuff sucks,

yeah all of it sucks, if I can't be with you.

And no oscar, no grammy, no mansion in Miami.

The sun don't shine, the sky ain't bue,

If I can't be with you.

She slowly let the music faint and smiled at me.

"Good Morning, rockstar!" she said, "You were sleeping really deep, when I woke up, so I decided to go outside and watch the sunrise. I hope you don't mind that I took your guitar."

"Of course not, I just had no clue, that you could play like this." I replied. I sat down on the other chair across from her.

"Well" I started to stutter, "that was a pretty interesting night:" I was looking at her, if there was any sign, that she regretted last night. But nothing, she just smiled.

"Yeah, you can call it interesting. But honestly Ross, what are we gonna do now?" she asked with a frown on her face.

"I think we should drink some coffee and just enjoy the day." I pointed to her and then to my lap. She laid the guitar down next to her chair and came to me. She sat on my lap, while I embraced her. She looked down in my eyes and I leaned closer to her, closing my eyes, while she was doing the same. Finally our lips met and another firework was exploding in my body. How can anyone make me feel like this, I wondered. The kiss became more passionate with every minute it was going on. After a couple of minutes we pulled away from each other to breathe.

"Well, this was something." I said, "I know, we shouldn't do this, but I can't stay away from you and I hope you feel the same way. Last night was special to me." First she looked down on her hands, which were on her lap. I got a little bit worried, what she would answer. Finally she looked at me and said quietly.

"The best would be, if I leave you today, but I can't stay away from you either and I know it is wrong, but my feelings for you are getting more intense every day. So I'll stay with you as long as you want me around."

"Forever!" slipped out my mouth. She smirked at me, but quickly got serious again.

"We should keep it to ourselves for the moment. Maybe we come up with an idea to solve this problem."

"We're figuring something out and for the moment we can keep it to ourselves, even, if I would like to tell the whole world about us right now." I answered.

"What about a coffee right now and than having a day at the beach?" I asked her. She nodded in agreement and got off my lap.

"I just change into something else and get fresh, in the meanwhile you can make coffee" she smiled at me. I groaned.

"Why changing into something else, I like you in my shirt. It stimulates my fantasy."

"It's not like you didn't see everything last night" she giggled.

"Yeah, but that doesn't mean, I don't want to see it again."

"Then come with me to take a shower and we get the coffee later". She reached out her hand to me and quickly I was out of the chair. I was following her to the bathroom and we started the day, like we ended last night.
