~Chapter Eight~

~Collins P.O.V~

I have figured out when you're at school not a lot happens. But you miss three days and boom everything is happening all at once.

There was two massive fights, one about guys getting angry over another guy. And the other fight was girls fighting over some guy.

Jessie let me in on all the gossip. Even about Jamie. Apparently he's been acting strange. Been missing his football practise. Getting into heated arguments.

I was expecting him to come visit me but he never did. I tried calling and texting but he never answered.

I felt good walking back into school. School was pretty much my life. I know it's a geeky thing to say but it's the truth.

"Do you think Jamie will be here?" I asked Jesse.

"He should be I've never known him to miss a full day of school" Jesse shrugged.

I spotted Jamie talking to some guy, must be one if his group of friends.

"I'll see you later" I said over my shoulder as I made my way over to Jamie.

"Hey, sorry to interrupt but could I speak to you alone Jamie?" I asked.

The guy Jamie was talking to shrugged hi shoulders and made his way down the hall.

"What?" Jamie snapped. Jeez what was this guys problem.

"Where have you been, I've been trying to get in contact back you haven't answered me plus you didn't come to see me after you said you would" god I sounded like an over attached girlfriend.

Jamie shrugged "I've been busy" he said cooly.

"Busy with what" I snapped. I didn't mean to.

"Are you jealous that I didn't come see you?" Jamie smirked.

"No" I whispered, I lowered my head in shame.

"Just for your information Collin" god my name sounded so good coming from his mouth "I'm not gay. And the only reason I came to see was to see if you were okay, because of what I did to you" Jamie snapped.

"Fine!" I yelled. "I'm sorry I ever bothered you!" I yelled I stormed off. I know that wasn't my best comeback line. Ive never gotten into an argument before. But I couldn't help but feel that he was somewhat attracted to me.

And it felt like a piece of my heart broke as I walked away from him.

~Jamie's P.O.V~

It broke my heart to watch Collin walk away from me. Why did I have to be a jerk to him. I watched as Collins friend Jesse comforted him and I couldn't help but feel jealous.

"Mine" someone growled. I spun around to see if anyone was there but no one was.

Who was that? "Mate" someone growled again.

By now Jesse and Collin had gone off to next period.

"Who's there?" I whispered to no one. I felt so stupid.

"How dare you let our mate walk away and let that human boy comfort him!" Someone yelled.

"Who are you? Where are you?" I asked angrily.

"I'm your wolf and I am inside your head" the voice said.

"Wolf?" I asked.

"Yes I am your wolf and you just got our mate upset" the voice growled.

"I'm going crazy" I said out loud.

"Shut up" the voice groaned. "Stupid human, you're a werewolf, and next week when you turn 18 you will be able to turn" the voice said.

This is all too crazy. Either my mother was right, I am a werewolf or I'm just going bat shit crazy just liked her.

"Your mother is not crazy neither are you"

"Prove it" I said out loud.

"How the hell do you want me to prove it!" The voice growled.

"My father. I want to meet my father. If I see him turn is i will believe all this" I said. I knew my wolf couldn't help with that so I decided to skip the day and go find my mother.
