~Chapter Eighteen~

~Jamie's P.O.V~

I could hear my father talking but I didn't hear the words he was saying. The bond between Collin and I was killing me. My wolf missed him.. I missed him. I want to go run to him tell him I forgive him and that I love him.

But that would be dangerous. I his away in the castle so id be safe from Collin. Everyone have me potty looks.

"Jamie!" I heard someone yell my name.
I looked up and realised that it was just my father.

"Have you heard a word I've been saying?" My father sighed. I think he blamed me for this mess.

"Sorry father my head was else where" I said.
My father nodded. "I was saying that Collin stopped by this afternoon to warn us" did he just Collin was here?

Why would my father even let him onto our grounds.
"Warn is about what" suddenly I got a massive headache. Like someone had just punched me in the head.

I ignored it and focused on what my father was saying.
"The task is handed over to some other hunters so we have to be prepared" my vision went blurry.

My head hurt so much. I held my head as I screamed.
"Son what is wrong?" My father walked over to me.

"My head. It hurts so much, like someone had smashed my head in" I said. I was on my knees now crying in pain.
Suddenly I felt a burning sensation across my body. My skin sizzled. What the fuck is happening to me.

When I looked at my father he went pale. "Have you bonded with Collin"

"I've bitten him?" I wasn't quite sure how the bonding process worked.

"You but him!?" My father yelled.
"Yes why" I said through gritted teeth still trying to ignore the pain.

"My god Jamie. Collin is in transition"

~Collins P.O.V~

I screamed once more as some guy squirted more water on me.
I could feel anger burning up inside of me.

"Please stop" I begged as the pain subsided.
"Isn't it ironic" a familiar voice rang out.
Chief. He stepped out of the shadows.
"A werewolf hunter, mates with a werewolf and then becomes a werewolf" chief laughed.

"But I'm not a werewolf" I said confused.
"I have taught you everything you need to know about werewolves. But one thing I didn't tell you is if you get bitten by a were you become a were" chief explained.

I was becoming a werewolf. "You see I've known you were mated to a wolf since you were born. I've sensed it all your life" chief told me.

"What I didn't expect is for you to be mated to a royal wolf" chief continued.
"You are the closest thing to that young cub and now that you are bonded with him. Whatever you feel, he feels" I screamed as more water was squirted on me. But now I know that it wasn't just water. It was contained with silver.

I just hoped that Jamie didn't feel this.
