The woman started to the park exit. All the children followed her. There were two older ones in the back that seemed to be herding the rest of the children, too.
She walked for a few blocks when she finally stopped at a gate and unlocked it. She ushered all the children and closed it behind her. It took me a minute to finally realize where I was.
I was at Hero's Houses. The Orphanage run by an unknown hero company. So that explained why she had so many children with her, but it didn't explain what she had to do with The Pack.
I continued to watch as she did a head count. All of a sudden, all the children started yelling and a few started running, too. I looked in the direction all their attention was going to, and I saw a teenage boy. They were all fawning over him and hugging him.
I couldn't really hear what they were saying but I could tell they really liked him. I had seen all I really needed and went to go report all of this. This could be nothing and just my imagination or this could be a very big development.
I stopped at the station and wrote down everything that happened. This called for an immediate investigation.
The Pack was the second most dangerous criminal group in just two months of showing up. Anything connected to them was sure to be helpful.
I was going back to Hero's Houses tomorrow for a more private investigation. But first I needed some sleep. I headed back to my place and crashed. I had a long day tomorrow.
*Aishi*
I quickly changed behind the kitchen building and hid my costume. I showed myself and started walking towards the kids. It didn't take them long to notice me.
"Aishi! Aishi! Where were you?"
"Aishi did you see the bad guys at all?"
"Blake and Caden and Alex were hostages!"
"Are you okay?"
"Pick me up!"
"It's good to see you Oniisan!"
I laughed at all their energy. I picked up Blake and told them we could all talk when we were inside. They all told me about how a cool looking dude brought Blake, Alex, and Caden back. They were so excited to tell me everything. Their energy soon ran, though, and we they all went to bed. Emilia and Jack had to even carry a few that had already fallen asleep back to the dorms. Me and Kate wen to bed, too. We needed to do a lot tomorrow.
