Nagisa threw the remote back on the table and continued eating her cereal. She ate another bite and set her spoon down. "So are we ever going to make our comeback? Like our villain one. Or we just gonna keep doing this?"
I let out a heavy sigh. "I told you we would when the time was right. And the time isn't right at the moment."
"But when's that gonna be then?" Cody lazily stalked into the room.
"Don't push him." Mia's voice was low and harsh. Protective as usual.
"Just chill it, everyone!" The oldest took command of the room instantly. She glared at us all before sitting back down.
We sat in silence as I got up. "Our secret identities are working fine for now. It's a good way of income and staying up to date with the hero world. It also gives up a lot of connections." I focused on Nagisa. "And I'm pretty sure that you guys don't mind it either."
He furiously blushed and tried hiding his face. Mia was laughing at him. I calmly looked at her.
"I feel like we're all enjoying it."
It was her turn to blush like mad.
Ending our conversation, the door opened to a lady with a clipboard. "The meeting starts in five." She promptly left.
"So? Let's get going then."
We all got up and headed out. Nearing our destination, we heard a whole lot of chatter rising. We stepped into view, silencing the crowd before it erupted into chaos.
Kate raised her hand, once again quieting everyone. She gave a warm smile. Spreading out her arms, she raised her voice.
"Let the Killshot Hearts fan meet now begin!"
