Yesterday was a day like any other day. We did idol business and then killed people who messed with us. We've been more active than you think over the past years, but people don't notice since we keep low.
But today is going to be different.
"Where are we going?" Mia asked for the sixteenth time. I groaned and rubbed my face. She wouldn't shut up. "Just tell us!"
"Fine!" I yell as we reach the UA gates. "We're here."
Mia's jaw dropped as she gazed at the school. Nagisa was just annoyed. Cody seemed really amused. Kate seemed to already have known. She's smart like that.
"We were invited to preform at UA. Surprise?"
"What! Why?"
"Well..." I looked at my group. "Didn't you guys want to make a come back soon?" Wide eyes. Jaws dropping. They just stared at me. "I was thinking we could after we preformed here."
Nagisa fist pumped the air and Mia started squealing. "Yes! I get to kill more people!"
I just sighed. "We've talked about this. We don't just kill whoever we want. We only kill when needed. And no innocents." My voice got more stern farther in. One thing I couldn't stand was the slaughter of the innocent. Some people deserve what's coming to them, but some just get caught in the crossfire.
I rubbed the bridge of my nose and closed my eyes. If Mia kills another dude that hits on her, I will go insane.
"Let's just go. It's an hour before our performance already."
Our arrival at UA was unannounced so no one knew we were coming. Once one person saw us, all hell broke loose. There was one shriek that was followed by another. We hadn't even entered the gates yet.
Before we could get ran over by fans, UA staff ushered us away and to where we were to preform. It was all running pretty smoothly. We got ready and set up. After we had some time to kill so we signed and few autographs and whatnot.
Quicker than we thought, it was already time for us to preform. We took our pills, courtesy of Kate, and waited for our cue. We could hear all the excitement die down as the lights shut off. An announcer came on stage and began an introduction. All we had to do was wait for the signal.
"Now let's welcome our special guests! Give it up for The Killshot Hearts!"
