"I'll need to call Hobi soon," Jin sighed, trying to ignore the ache that started in his stomach and slowly spread throughout the rest of his body. Hoseok had brought him five days' worth of blood over a week ago now, and he had gone through it in four.
"Has it been three days, or four, since I finished it?" He couldn't remember, but his body told him it had been too long. Being so close to Namjoon all the time didn't help much, either. Honestly, he was the reason Jin had gone through the blood so quickly in the first place.
He knew he was going to have to find an excuse to meet with Hoseok again, or somehow get out of the apartment so he could hunt. He knew the latter was more dangerous, since the hunter was hanging around somewhere close, but he would have to risk it.
"I'm going out for a bit," Namjoon told him as he entered the living room.
"Where to?"
"We need more groceries, and I need to talk to Jackson."
"I'll get the groceries."
Namjoon frowned at him. "Jin-Hyung, you can't leave—"
"I'm going crazy, being cooped up in here. No one has heard anything about the assassin in over a week, so he's obviously still looking for me. Which means he doesn't know where we are. I'll buy the groceries and come straight back. You can go talk to Jackson while I get them, and I'll be back before you're done."
Namjoon bit his lip, and Jin could tell he was thinking over everything that could possibly go wrong with that plan.
"Please," he added. "I need to get out of here away from my thoughts for a bit." That's a low blow, Jin, playing the dead family card. If it worked, though, he'd do it. Hunger was making him a bit desperate.
Namjoon sighed, looking like he had lost some long battle. "Fine. Text me when you get there, when you leave, and as soon as you're back here. The door code is 95482037. Then hit the green release button twice before inserting the key into the door to unlock it." He paused. "I'll text you the door code since it's long. Delete it as soon as you get back, though."
"No need," Jin said, "I got it." When Namjoon didn't look convinced, he repeated the string of numbers back to him.
"Ok, good. I should be done talking to Jackson in about thirty minutes. The grocery store is only a couple blocks north. Go straight there and back."
"Would Hoseok going along make you feel better?"
"Unless he's bulletproof, no," the man mumbled, and Jin smirked.
"I'll have him meet me there. Is that alright?"
"You're going to do it anyways, so I guess it is."
He smiled, "Thank you, Namjoon."
"Make it a quick trip, Hyung, alright?"
He nodded, accepting the credit card from him and following him out the door. Namjoon paused when they reached the corner of the apartment building outside. "Call me if anything seems off."
"I will. I'll see you in a little while."
As soon as he was down the street, he sent Hoseok a text, asking him to meet him at the grocery store with more blood.
[Sorry, Jin-Hyung, I can't get out right now. Jimin-ssi is here.]
"Jimin-ssi?" He asked aloud, staring at his friend's text. [Can't you sneak away for five minutes?]
[I brought you what bagged blood I had; I'd have to get more.]
[How long will that take?]
