"He took that alarmingly well," Yoongi said, sitting beside Jin at the large kitchen island. "Jungkook passed out after he and Tae made their contract, and he knew about it beforehand."

"I think maybe he's still in shock," Jin sighed. "We did both almost die. The last time he saw me, I was nearly dead, and now I'm totally fine. And then the news about Jimin on top of it--"

"That isn't your fault, so don't even go there," Yoongi warned. "He willingly jumped in front of that bullet, and Hoseok willingly turned him. That's between them. As for Namjoon, he'll come to terms with things, too. He seems smart and open-minded, so I think the contract won't cause too much trouble for you. For several decades, at least."

"Don't say that," Jin snapped.

Yoongi raised an eyebrow at him. "Are you going to turn him?"

"No."

"Then he'll age and die." Yoongi's eyes fell on the dark-haired human who was currently walking around the kitchen, making ramyeon and humming to himself. "Humans aren't immortal like us. Eventually, he'll reach the end of his life, and you'll be torn completely apart when he does."

Jin wasn't so sure Yoongi was talking about him and Namjoon anymore, judging by the dark look on his face. Gently, he bumped Yoongi's shoulder with his own. "I don't think I ever thanked you. If you hadn't shown up when you did, Namjoon and I would both be dead. Probably Hoseok and Jimin, too, as panicked as he was at the time."

"I'm still going to kill you for putting me through all of that stress," Yoongi grumbled. "Next time, we do things my way."

"Fortunately for you, I no longer have a family for a hunter to murder."

"Hey," Yoongi placed his hand on Jin's, and he realized he'd been shaking. "We got him, alright? That hunter isn't going anywhere, and I'm going to make sure he has a nasty little accident once he's finally convicted."

"No, let the humans handle it."

"It isn't a human issue."

"He was Namjoon's friend."

"He killed your parents and brother."

"And they believed in the human laws. Let them handle it. I just want to be done with all of this. I need to hold a human funeral for them next week, and before that I have to return to the company and sort things out. You and Hoseok were able to keep things under control while I was gone, but I can't neglect it forever."

"I have to admit I'll be thankful once you get back," Yoongi sighed. "I hate all of the company politics. You and Hobi will be able to get things back to normal faster than I could."

"I still appreciate everything, you know," Jin smiled.

"We're practically family; we have to stick together," Yoongi said, offering him one of his rare gummy smiles that made him look much younger.

"How long do you think Namjoon-Hyung will sleep?" Jungkook asked, sitting on the barstool beside Yoongi and leaning against him. "I made ramyeon, and I don't want it to get cold."

"He went through a lot, so he may be out for a while, Kookie," Yoongi told him, ruffling his hair. "You should eat. We can get the officer something once he wakes up."

"I was excited to have someone to eat with for once," Jungkook sighed, getting to his feet and going to the stove to dish out the noodles.

"What?" Yoongi snapped, quietly, when he caught Jin staring.

"I thought you hated humans," he smirked.

"Well, Taehyung made a blood contract with him, so I have to deal with it," he muttered, and Jin only smiled.
