The Phoenix Beys

✔Chapter 3

"We have to find Mr. Gingka, now." Yuki said as he and Lillian continued their search for said Blader.

Lillian looked through the booklet she held in her hands as she caught up with Yuki.

"The WBBA Headquarters is nearby." She informed him.

Just then, the two heard someone's laughter.

"You're not going there, Kiddos." A voice said.

A figure then jumped over the two's heads and landed on a box in front of them.

"Yo." The man said.

"Who are you?" Yuki asked, stepping in front of Lillian a little as if to shield her.

Despite not being much of a fighter, Yuki has always felt a little protective when it came to his best friend. Even though he was fully aware of the fact she could protect herself and him if she had to.

"Sorry, Kiddos, but your journey ends here, I'm afraid to say." The man said, seemingly ignoring Yuki's question.

"I said, who are you?" Yuki spoke a little louder.

"What do you want with us?" Lillian said.

"Long story." The man said before firing his Bey. "Beat Lynx!"

"Mercury Anubius!" Yuki shouted as he too launched his Bey.

Anubius and Lynx both clashed, but Lynx seemed to have the upper hand. 

"Man, he's strong." Yuki said.

"Should I bring in Mercurix?" Lillian said as she prepared her Bey to launch.

"No. Not yet, at least." Yuki said, before calling for his Bey as they ran away.

"Hm. They always run." The Johannes said before disappearing from his spot.

The two ran around a corner only to find the Lynx user in front of them.

"Too bad, you lose." Johannes said with a laugh.

The Lynx Bey once again clashed with Anubius and knocked it back a bit.

"Yuki, we have to tell Mr. Gingka what we know now!" Lillian urged her friend.

"Right." Yuki agreed as he gave her a nod.

Lillian sent her Bey, Mercurix, into a bunch of boxes in order to knock them down and give them enough of a distraction to run away again. 

Johannes flipped out of the way of the falling boxes and hissed like a cat.

"See ya!" Yuki called, before he and Lillian continued to run.

"You can't run from me forever, my little friends." Johannes said.

Gingka and Kenta were battling each other whilst Kyoya and Benkei were also battling each other in the B-Pit. Madoka, Scarlett, Kogame, Ryo Hagane and Hikaru were all stood off to one side observing Kyoya and Gingka's Beys as they battle.

"I still can't believe something like that happened." Ryo said.

"Yes, a Bey changing it's form all by itself? Is something like that even actually possible?" Hikaru agreed as she was looking at Scarlett's Bey, which now looked an aweful lot like Gingka's, and handed it back to her.

She would've believed it was his Bey if not for the face bolt.

"I know it might be hard for you two to believe, but I saw it with my own two eyes." Madoka said.
