"What are your names?" Ryo asked.
They had taken Yuki and Lillian back to the B-Pit where they allowed the two to rest for a while. Yuki woke up from fainting not too long after arriving and, after a bit of fussing from Lillian, he assured them all he was okay.
"I'm Yuki Mizusawa and this is Lillian." Yuki introduced.
"Yuki. Strong name." Ryo commented.
"Well I haven't seen you around here before." Benkei said. "Where did you two come from, huh?"
"And what's all this about Gingka lending you his strength?" Kenta added.
"Yeah, and What is a Legendary Blader?" Gingka also questioned.
Yuki didn't exactly know who to respond to first and shared a glance with Lillian. The two were thankfully saved by Ryo telling them that they couldn't answer their questions if they asked them all at once.
"Let's start at the beginning." Ryo said. "So, how do you two know about the Star Fragment in the first place?"
Yuki and Lillian shared another glance before nodding.
Yuki explained to the others how long ago a star fell from the sky and that through the ages the tops born from that Star Fragment changed shape to evolve into the Beyblades of today.
"That's a Legend passed down in Koma Village." Ryo said.
"How do you know about that?" Scarlett asked.
Lillian then took over and explained how she and Yuki were brought up hearing the story from Yuki's grandfather ever since they were little and from there Ryo deducted that Yuki's grandfather must've grown up in Koma Village.
Yuki then told them how his grandfather would take him and Lillian to a hill where they could see the star filled sky. There, he would tell the two, "When a dazzling glow lights up the Earth from the heavens, a new Star Fragment will arrive and awaken a great power."
Lillian then told them how she and Yuki grew deeply interested as to when the new Star Fragment would fall to Earth and how they put together their own timeline of the universe that calculated the time of its arrival to Earth, which Madoka and Kenta were really impressed to hear.
Yuki told them how the most important reference for making that timeline came from the ancient Mayan civilisation.
"Did he say Mayan?" Gingka said as he turned to his father.
"It was an ancient civilisation that created a system of calendars through study." Ryo explained to his son. "Long ago people calculated the flow of time using the movements of the stars that shone in the night sky."
"And as it turned out, one of their calendars predicted the arrival of our particular star." Yuki said.
"Strangely, in ancient civilisations all over the world, there are many legends that are very similar to the one passed down in Koma Village." Lillian said. "The calendar left behind by the Mayans can be thought of as one of those."
"No way." Hikaru spoke in disbelief.
"Even from that long ago?" Madoka asked.
"The history of Beys goes way back. Yes." Ryo said.
"I'm sure that the meteor we found is the new Star Fragment." Lillian said. "And the light from the legend that Yuki's grandfather told us, has sparkled in the sky at last. There's no doubt in my mind that this was what he was talking about."
Yuki nodded in agreement.
" 'When a dazzling glow lights up the Earth from the heavens.' It was the explosion of Spiral Force that Gingka released in space. That was surley the light in the heavens, of course." Yuki said.
