✔Chapter 19

"So that's Mist Mountain, huh?" Gingka said as they stood before a tall mountain surrounded by a thick blanket of mist.

"It definitely is misty, that's for sure." Madoka said.

"And up there, there's a Legendary Blader waiting for us." Yuki said.

"Let's hurry." Nile said. "We want to reach the summit before the sun goes down."

The group followed after Nile, Cleo and Demure as they lead them up the mountain through the jungle and thick fog.

Elsewhere, the members of the Beylin Fist and Johannes were also making their way up Mist Mountain.

"Could there really be a Legendary Blader in a place like this?" Aguma asked as a white cat approached them. "There's no mistake, right? Your information is correct, yes?

"Don't worry about it." Johannes said. "You made a contract with us, did you not fellows? So just stop moaning and come with me, okay?"

"Watch your mouth." Aguma told the man. "What's important is that Beylin Fist will soon be in control of the entire world."

"Well, let's got meet him, then." Johannes said. "The person that will make your dreams come true. The Legendary Blader that I spoke of."

Johannes then turned to the white cat with them.

"Now, then. Please lead the way, my friend." He told the cat.

The white cat ran off in a certain direction and Johannes started walking after it.

Bao, Aguma and Yuya shared a glance, not sure just how trustworthy Johannes was.

"Hey! Hurry up, boys!" Johannes called back to them.

"I'm a girl, but whatever." Yuya muttered.

Bao chuckled lightly at her in amusement and took her by the hand as they all followed after Johannes and the white cat he was following.

Gingka, Madoka, Scarlett, Nile, Cleo, Demure, Yuki, Lillian, Kogame, Kyoya and Benkei had made it through the jungle and were now stopped by a giant door.

"Here it is. This is the entrance to the ruins." Nile said.

"What's up? The Mountain of No Return? We found our way here, no problem at all." Gingka said.

"The hard part begins now." Nile said.

The door suddenly opened on its own, revealing the maze-like structure that is the ruins of the ancient civilisation.

"There it is." Madoka said. Wow! It really is a maze."

"I believe the temple where the guardian is said to live is still much further ahead." Demure said. "This maze is meant to stop intruders from entering. If you do not know the correct path, you cannot make it through there."

"Oh, great."

"Sorry, it's true. It's the main reason Mist Mountain is called the Mountain of No Return."

"Once you become lost, you will never find your way out again." Nile said.

"What are we going to do, Gingka?" Scarlett asked.

"What can we do? We've  come this far, we have to go on." Gingka replied.

"Really?" Madoka asked, a little unsure as to whether or not that was a good idea.

"Please, do not worry." Nile said. "I have a map that shows the path through the maze. So just follow me, okay? I can lead us through it."

"Man, would've been good to know earlier."
