"Sorry for the wait!" Madoka called out as she joined the others who were waiting for her.
"You're late, Madoka." Gingka said.
"Even I don't take that long to get ready." Scarlett said.
"It can't be helped. I'm really sorry, but I like to plan ahead, unlike you guys." Madoka said. "Plus, we don't even know how long we'll be gone this time."
A train passed by overhead and they all turned to look at it.
"We're saying goodbye to this town for a while once again." Scarlett said.
"It doesn't bother me for a minute." Kenta said, causing the others to turn to him. "During the World Championships, I wasn't able to go with you. But this time, Gingka, I'm along for the ride."
"Kenta." Gingka said.
"Gingka, while I help you look for the Legendary Bladers, maybe I'll become one too." Kenta said as he looked down at his Bey. "Saggitario, you and I are going to be one of the eight."
"Yeah! You can be a Legendary Blader, for sure, Kenta." Scarlett encouraged.
"Yeah, I sure hope you're right about that, Scarlett. But the important thing is that I keep getting stronger just in case that comes true." Kenta said.
"If we can ever do anything to help, just ask." Gingka said. "Let's do our best together."
"Yeah!" Kenta cheered in agreement.
"You three are really close, aren't you?" Lillian asked as she and Yuki watched Kenta, Scarlett and Gingka fist bump. "You're really lucky to have friends you can trust completely."
"We've spent all our time up to now doing research all by ourselves." Yuki said. "I know I have Lillian and the two of us are rather close, but I still envy your friendship a little."
Lillian placed a gentle hand on Yuki's shoulder and he gave her a warm smile in thanks for the comforting gesture.
Yuki trusted Lillian more than anyone and accepted her as his best friend, but, as much as he is thankful for her friendship, he never knew what it was like to befriend other boys, which is why he felt a little envious of Gingka and Kenta's friendship.
"What are you talking about? Don't worry, you guys are one of us now." Gingka said.
"That's right." Madoka agreed. "If you two hadn't have come, who knows what kind of serious trouble we would be in right now. You two really are one of us."
"We don't know what's waiting for us up ahead, but let's all work together as a team." Kenta said.
Yuki and Lillian were really touched by this and had tears in their eyes.
"Everyone..." Yuki said, before he and Lillian bowed.
"We won't let you down." Lillian said.
"Cool." Gingka said.
"Aw, you two." Kenta said.
"Okay, then! Let's go, everybody!" Gingka called out.
"Yeah!" The others agreed.
Kenta started running ahead, the others running behind him as they attempted to keep up with the boy, but he suddenly stopped as he noticed a group of cats.
"What's with all the cats?" Madoka asked.
A man then walked out of the shadows and Lillian and Yuki recognised him straight away.
"Ah! Not you again!" They both exclaimed in unison.
Stood before them was none other than the cat lover Johannes who laughed, seemingly enjoying their discomfort at his presence.
