The Phoenix Beys

✔Chapter 14

The next round of the tag team tournament was in yet another location and they had to be flown over to it in helicopters.

The stadium was a sky stadium surrounded by a thick layer of fog and formed by large pillars of rock.

The first match was Da Xian and Chi Yun vs Gingka and Scarlett. Chi Yun and Da Xian both proved that they'd improved their skills quite a bit since the World Championships. However, as hard as they fought and despite almost winning, their skills just weren't enough to defeat the Legendary Blader and Pheonix Bey weilder as Gingka and Scarlett took the win.

The next battle was Bao and Aguma vs Kyoya and Benkei. They all thought Bao was the Legendary Blader they were looking for, as he was the owner of the Bey the created the crimson flash, but they were soon proven wrong as the battle was abruptly ended by a special move on Bao and Aguma's side of the stadium. It turned out the real Legendary Blader between the duo wasn't Bao, but was actually Aguma.

The final battle was to be held in a temple and would be where Gingka and Scarlett will verse Bao and Aguma. Not long after a few words of warning from Da Xian and Chi Yun on how strong the Beylin Fist Bladers were, the battle began.

It was an instense battle with both teams giving it their all. Unfortunately, Gingka and Scarlett weren't able to beat them and Bao and Aguma reigned victorious over the tag team tournament.

After the tournament, Bao and Aguma abruptly left the temple before they could even collect their reward for winning.

"I wonder where those two took off to..." Gingka said.

"I have no idea." Chao Xin said. "And there's been absolutely no sign of them."

"The Beylin Temple's four thousand year old information network's tracking them too." Chi Yun said.

"We haven't recieved any useful information yet." Hua said.

"So, what do you intend to do now, Gingka?" Da Xian asked.

"There's only one thing to do." Gingka replied. "Aguma is a Legendary Blader, that's what we know for sure."

"Okay, then. Now we have to find him somehow and get him to listen to us and before that power is handed over." Yuki said. "It must not be given to the evildoers."

"But how are you going to find him?" Mei Mei asked.

"How do you expect to find guys who can't even be found by all of Beylin Temple's resources combined?" Chao Xin added on.

"Beats me." Yuki replied.

"Check the tournaments." Kyoya spoke up.

The others all turned to find Kyoya at the door.

"It doesn't matter were those chumps have gotten to." Kyoya continued. "That Aguma guy said that they wanted to beat every style of Blader from everywhere in the entire world. You haven't forgotten that, have you?"

"Oh yeah!" Benkei said in realisation. "Good call."

"So, in order to do that, it makes sense to join other tournaments." Lillian said.

"And we still have to search for the remaining Legendary Bladers anyway, isn't that right?" Madoka said.

"Kyoya is one, Gingka, Ryuga, Yuki, and now Aguma." Benkei counted off his fingers. "So that means-"

"Five down, five to go." Kogame finished for him and he nodded.

"Not to mention, we got to keep an eye out for any other Phoenix Beys as well." Scarlett said. "No doubt, where there's a Phoenix Bey, a Legendary Blader can't be too far away."
