I just would like to say I'm sorry to all the Peter x Gwen shippers out there for this chapter, and possibly for the rest of the story until Peter comes back from being unsnapped.

With Carol carrying the Benatar to Earth, everyone except Helena retreated to their bunks. Meredith eventually came out and joined her aunt. She sat in the co-captain's seat while Helena was in the captain's.

"How is the ship flying? I thought we ran out of fuel" Meredith asked.

"Miss Danvers" Helena answered. Meredith nodded and then smiled to herself, thinking about the mentioned woman. Helena quickly noticed and decided to pry information out of her niece. "What's with the smile on your face?"

"What smile?"

"That smile. That's the smile your mom gets whenever she was around Peter, the one she now gets around Thor, the one Damien gets around Gamora, and the one I get around Quentin" Helena got up from her seat and walked over to her niece. She placed her hand on her shoulder. "I think it's cute that you have a crush on Miss Danvers, but you're four years old. She's got to be in her twenties to early thirties"

"I'm not four anymore, Auntie Helena" Meredith sighed. Her eyes met her aunt's. "I don't know how, but I've reached my twenties already. When we get to Earth, I'm going to ask Dr. Banner about it" She then looked out the window sadly. "How am I supposed to tell mom? I wanted the chance to grow up and then I turned into this"

"I'd suggest waiting until after the whole..." Helena stopped herself to look around and check for signs of her sister before continuing on. "Thanos thing is over and we get your father back"

Gwen, now feeling a little calmer, made her way to the bunk she shared with Thor. The one she used to share with Peter. She found Thor lying down on the bed, his arms folded over his stomach. He took notice of Gwen.

"Is everything alright, my love?" the Asgardian asked the Kosmonian. Gwen's heart fluttered when Thor called her my love, but she also felt that pang of guilt, like she was betraying Peter. But at the same time, she also knew it was okay to move on. For now at least.

"I'm fine, Thor. The ship is on the move again. A woman named Carol Danvers is helping us" Gwen explained. She climbed into bed with Thor. She laid beside him, resting her head on his chest, as he wrapped his arms around her. He planted a kiss to the top of her head.

"Gwen, may I ask you about something?"

"What is it?"

"Remember on Kosmo, when we were talking about our plans for marriage?" Gwen nodded in response and Thor continued on. "Are you positive that marrying me is what you want? You're still very much in love with Quill and I don't want--"

"Thor, at this point, I'm feeling hopeless in the fact that I'm ever getting my husband back. I need to move on, otherwise I'm just gonna be miserable for the rest of my life" Both Gwen and Thor sat up and looked at each other. Gwen took his hands in hers. "You've been there for me. I'm the one who brought up the idea of us getting married, and I wouldn't have brought it up if I wasn't sure it's what I wanted. My future son needs a father. If Peter isn't going to be around, then you need to be the father for my son"

"And you're absolutely sure that this is what you want? Us to marry? Me to be the father to your unborn son?"

"Yes, Thor" Gwen cupped his face in her hands. "This is what I want. This is what I want my new life to be. I..." She stopped herself, hesitant to say her next words, no matter how true they have come to be. "I love you, Thor"

Thor smiled at her, and pushed some of her dark purple hair away from her face, cupping her cheek in the process. "I love you too, Gwen" The two of them leaned in and kissed each other. It became rather passionate as they both fell back on the bed. Gwen's hands reached for the hem of Thor's shirt, but he stopped her for a moment. "Are you sure?"

"Yes, I want this. I want you" She assured him. Their lips met again and then proceeded to undress each other. They became completely intimate for the first time, unaware about the now angry presence that was just outside the door.

Meredith had come to talk to her mother about her accelerated aging, but she had heard everything that Gwen and Thor said to each other. From them getting married to Thor raising her baby brother. She finally had to walk away when she began hearing the moans of pleasure leaving her mother.

Meredith laid face down on her bed, crying into her pillow. She was absolutely upset and furious with her mother. How could she just move on like that? How could she choose to marry Thor when she was still married to Peter? How could her and Thor dare have sex with each other in Gwen and Peter's room?

"Mer? You okay in there?" The knock on the door was followed by Kraglin's voice. Meredith sat up on the bed, wiping her tears as her Ravager uncle entered the room. "Nebula wanted me to tell you that the shining space lady brought us to Earth"

"Thanks Uncle Kraglin" Meredith said.

"Is everything okay?"

"Yeah. I'm just going through some stuff right now. You wouldn't understand" Kraglin walked over to the bed and sat down beside Meredith.

"This is about your mom and dad, isn't it?"

"She's already moved on with Thor. I heard them getting busy in her room. The room that she shared with my father" Meredith's eyes began to glow with anger. "How could she!? She knows we're getting my father back, aren't we!? I heard her say that she loves Thor! She can't! She shouldn't! The only man she's allowed to be in love with is my father!" Meredith had accidentally pierced her bedroom door with a light tentacle. She immediately calmed down after her actions took place, and after seeing the look of fright on Kraglin's face. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to"

"It's not your fault, Mer. You're going through a lot. It's okay to be angry but maybe when other people aren't around"

"Seriously?" Meredith and Kraglin both turned their heads to see Rocket peeking through the hole in the door. "As if the fuel gauge wasn't bad enough, now I gotta fix your door?"
