I Need A Hero Vol. 4 {Peter Quill}

Tony, Steve, Bruce, Scott, Xavier, and Kamomile landed in 2012 New York. It was during the Battle of New York, during which Loki had his Chitauri army invading. Xavier and Kamomile looked around the rubble confused.

"What happened here?" Xavier asked.

"As I recall, Thanos had Loki fetch the Mind Stone and then invade Earth with the Chitauri" Kamomile explained.

"You knew about that?" Tony asked.

"Unfortunately, yes" Kamomile sighed shamefully. "I tried to convince Thanos to not go through with the invasion but I received a beating and imprisonment that day"

"Don't blame yourself for what happened, Kamomile" Steve assured him. "All right, we all have our assignments. Two stones uptown, one stone, down. Stay low. Keep an eye on the clock" 2012 Hulk passed by and smashed everything in his way. Bruce put his hand on his face, obviously embarrassed. "Feel free to smash things along the way"

"I think it's gratuitous but whatever. Xavier, you're with me" Bruce said. He tore off his shirt and smashed things in a sarcastic fashion. He punched a car, making a small dent in it. He picked up a motorbike and threw it at a wall.

Eventually, Bruce and Xavier made it to the roof of the Sanctum Santorum. A woman, known as the Ancient One, was busy fighting off any Chitauri that came her way. Bruce and Xavier tried to enter the Sanctum, but she noticed the both of them. "I'd be careful going that way. We just had the floors waxed"

"Ma'am, we're looking for Doctor Strange" Bruce said.

"You're about... five years too early. Stephen Strange is currently performing surgery about twenty blocks that way" She pointed in the direction. "What do you want from him?"

"That, actually" Bruce pointed towards the the Eye of Agamotto, which the Ancient One adorned around her neck. The Time Stone was kept inside of it.

"Ah, I'm afraid not"

"We're not asking, madam" Xavier warned, placing a hand on his sword, which was sheathed at his waist.

"Neither of you want to do this"

"Ah, you're right, we don't." Bruce said, trying to grab the Eye of Agamotto. "But we need that stone, and I don't have time to beat it-" The Ancient One pushed Bruce's astral form out of his body (his astral form looking like human Bruce). Bruce looked at the Ancient One, horrified, and Xavier moved his hand away from his weapon, not wanting to agitate the woman further.

"Let's start over, shall we?"

Thor, Rocket, Lylla, and Helena made it to 2013 Asgard. They cut through the prison, where Loki lied in his cell, not even noticing the four of them. They stopped at a pillar a few feet away from Jane Foster's room.

"That's Jane" Thor said, referring to the brunette woman who closed the door.

"All right. Here's the deal, Tubby: You're gonna charm her and I'm gonna poke her with this thing" Rocket explained. He held up a tubular device. "and extract the Reality Stone and get gone, lickety-split"

"I'll be right back, okay? There's a wine cellar, that's just down there. My father used to fish huge barrel of ale. I'll see if the cellar has a couple of..."

"Thor, you need to focus right now, okay?" Helena chastised him.

"And besides, aren't you drunk enough already?" Rocket asked. A door opened and the four of them hid. It was Frigga, Thor's mother. A couple of ladies followed behind her. "Who's the fancy broad?"
