The Benatar had finally landed on Kosmo. Gwen was rather nervous about being back. She hadn't been here for five years. And she also realized that she wasn't Queen anymore. She gave the throne to Helena. Ophelia and Helena were with Gwen in her room, helping her get dressed and do up her hair.
"Our people will be happy to see you, Gwen" Ophelia commented. She was working on Gwen's hair, styling it into intricate braids which she weaved through a purple headpiece. "You and Peter will need to address the people. Perhaps we could even through a celebratory party. You can invite the whole kingdom, and even some of your Earth friends"
"Shouldn't Helena be the one giving a speech?" Gwen questioned. "Before I left, I passed the title onto you"
"That you did, sister" Helena confirmed with a nod. "But since you have returned home, the position is now yours again"
"I see" Gwen mumbled quietly. "I don't think Peter will want to address with me. I don't think he'll ever want to talk to me again" She let a tear slip from her eyes.
"Oh, sweetheart" Ophelia cooed. She cupped her eldest daughter's cheek and wiped away the tear. "He'll come to forgive you. He still loves you, and you still love him. He'll just need time to understand why you married Thor in the first place"
"I hope so, mother" Gwen sighed. Ophelia and Helena stepped away from her. Gwen looked in the mirror to look at herself. She smiled to herself. She forgot how nice it felt to wear a dress like this.

Ophelia and Helena led Gwen out of the room. At the same time, Peter stepped out of the room across from them with Xavier and Damien on either side of him. Peter was all dressed up as well, head to toe in purple. He wore pants made of Kosmonian cotton, and a tunic made out of the same material. The robe he wore was made out of silk. A cape was attached to the robes. He adorned purple boots on his feet, and a purple crown on his head.
Gwen smiled at him. This was the first time she had ever actually seen him wear royal garments. He looked incredibly handsome. However, he refused to make eye contact with her. This caused Gwen's smile to drop. "Where is Yondu?" Gwen asked her father.
"With Nebula and Kraglin" Xavier answered. He smiled at his daughter. "You look beautiful. It's been so long since I've seen you wear a dress"
"Thank you, father" Gwen smiled at him.
"I suppose we should make our way to the castle" Ophelia suggested. She looked between Gwen and Peter. "You two need to address the kingdom"
"And I know you may not want to right now, but you need to walk out together" Xavier said. He grabbed Gwen's arm, and then he grabbed Peter's arm. He linked them together. "Keeping up appearances and all. We don't want the kingdom to know you're having a lover's quarrel right now. They need a King and Queen that will stand strong together. Especially now after Thanos. The whole planet is fragile now"
