Rocket, Bruce, and Meredith had successfully recruited Gwen and Thor (although he had to be tempted with booze), and were now on the Benatar on their way the Avengers Compound.

Gwen has found herself in her room. She sat on the bed and grabbed one of the pillows, hugging it to her chest. Peter's scent had still somehow lingered on the pillow. It smelled of his shampoo and the cologne he would sometimes wear for her. She hadn't even noticed Meredith standing in the doorway until she knocked on the wall.

"Mom? Am I interrupting something?"

"No" Gwen shook her head. Meredith joined her on the bed. She reached in her pocket and pulled an object out of it.

"I thought you might like this back" Meredith said, presenting the Zune to Gwen. She grabbed it. "I'm surprised you didn't take it when you left"

"It brought back too many memories. Meredith, I'm sorry I left without telling you. I'm sorry I didn't bring you with me. It's just--"

"Mom, you don't need to apologize for anything. You needed to move on. You need to leave so you could raise my brother. Does Yondu know? About his real father?"

Gwen shook her head. "No. I can't just tell my own son, "Hey, your birth father got snapped out of existence by a big, stupid, ugly, purple grape and he's never coming back" Thor's been a good father to him though, considering he's still hurting just as much as I am" She decided it was time to change the subject. "Tell me about this plan to reverse the snap"

As soon as they got back to the compound, Gwen went to go settle herself in a spare bedroom. She was filled with anxiety about this whole time-travel idea they had planned to go and retrieve the stones. They would then use those stones to bring everyone who was snapped away back into existence.

That included her Peter.

What was going to happen when he came back? What was going to happen when they reunite? Would he be mad at her when she finds out she remarried? Or would he understand? He would also be meeting his son for the first time, and meeting the adult Meredith for the first time.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door. "Come in" Thinking that it was Thor that opened it, she began to address him. "Hey, Thor. I was just thinking about---" Gwen stopped herself when she saw that it wasn't her husband. It was her sister. "Helena?"

"Gwen?" Helena rasped. The two sister approached each other. They grinned at one another before wrapping each other in a hug. "I can't believe it's you. I've been searching everywhere for you"

"I'm sorry I left. I'm sorry I didn't tell you where I was going"

"No, no. It's okay. I'm just glad to see you, and I'm glad to know that you're okay" When their hug ended, Helena took notice of and played with Gwen's hair. "You changed your hair. It looks good on you"

"Thanks. Your hair's longer than when I last saw you"

"I'm guessing Meredith ran you through our time-heist plan?" Gwen gave her sister a puzzled look. "Scott came up with the name"

"Who's Scott?"

"He's currently with Bruce, Rhodey, Nebula and father testing the Quantum Suits we'll be using. Come on" Helena grabbed Gwen's hand and led her out of the room. "We'll go find them"

Gwen and Helena went into the testing chamber where Rocket and Lylla were working on the machine they would be using for their time-heist. Tony had walked in behind Gwen and Helena.

"Long time no see, Quill" he greeted.

"You too, Stark"

"How's it going, Ratchet?" Tony referred to Rocket.
