"Are you ok? You seem really quiet all of a sudden." Sebastian pointed out, holding his hands on her waist. The expression on his face made Dana melt inside slightly. His concern for her wellbeing was a new feeling in any relationship, and his furrowed eyebrows made her smile. It took a moment for Dana to compose herself as she looked up at him. "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for worrying about me though." She grinned.
Seb smiled back. "You keep looking at your phone, I can't help but worry. Are people saying shit?" He searched her eyes for any sadness or fear. Shaking her head, Dana pulled back, reaching for his hand to interlock with her own. "Nothing more than usual." She replied honestly. People's comments were not what had her laced with panic.
Why was Liam suddenly so interested in her business? They'd broken up ages ago, and both of them were ok with it. He'd have said otherwise if he was upset, given how open he always was with his emotions.
Dana bit the inside of her cheek as she tried to distract herself from the thought of her ex-boyfriend. "Let's go to the studio." She suggested, pulling Sebastian towards a crossing in the street. He looked at her, confused at her sudden enthusiasm. "You've just released an album, you already making more music?" He asked, wrapping his arm over her shoulders. She raised her eyebrows at him. "I'm always making music. And besides, I want to see how well you play the guitar." She giggled, leaning into him.
He chuckled slightly, before biting his bottom lip. "I don't think you do. I'd hate for that to be the reason you end up getting rid of me." Sebastian said, as Dana looked at the hand placed on her shoulder. "Come on, those beautiful hands have to be good for something." She insisted, smirking at her own innuendo. Seb pursed his lips, unable to come up with a witty response he seemed appropriate. Instead he came clean about his secret skill.
"I can play the piano. Not very well, but I did for a role a few years back." He admitted. Jumping up slightly, Dana shouted. "I knew it! You definitely have piano fingers." She studied his hands. "Rebs owes me a tenner." She stated, making Seb laugh. He dreaded to think what discussion had brought about his musical abilities.
"I'm glad to know you think my hands are beautiful though." He smirked as her cheeks tinged pink. She struggled to find the words to defend herself, so accepted it. There was no point in denying what was true.
