"Are you ok?" Sebastian asked, noticing how Dana had gone quiet. Had he done something? Had he said something? Dana nodded her head. "Yeah, my dad just texted me." She sighed. He paused for a second, not knowing how to respond. "Is that... I'm guessing that's not a good thing." He muttered.

Dana shook her head. "My relationship with my dad isn't the best." She admitted. "We've tried sorting it out, but it doesn't seem to get us anywhere." The buzz of the coffee shop had diminished slightly, and it seemed like everyone had left from their lunch breaks to go back to work. Sebastian had his hands on his coffee, trying to warm them up as best as possible.

"If you don't mind me asking, what happened between you two?" He let his curiosity get the better of him. "Well, when I was 3 or 4, he... my mum found him in bed with someone else, and their marriage ended. I didn't see him again until..." she stopped. Sebastian immediately felt guilty. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." He rushed.

Dana looked into his eyes, "I want to tell you, though." She insisted, looking up at him with a smile. Sebastian smiled back at her. "I didn't see him again until my 5th birthday, when he just showed up at our door. He, um, had an argument with my mums then-boyfriend and he ruined the day for me." She finished abruptly.

A silence fell between them, as he took in what she said. "My dad and mom divorced when I was really young, I don't remember him, and I'm kind of glad about that." Sebastian said, looking at the half empty mug in front of him. Dana did the same, before leaning in closer. "We have other people to rely on." She smiled softly.

"You have Harrison, and I have..." Sebastian struggled to find an answer, but Dana seemed to know it straight away. "You have me, I'm not going to leave you alone any time soon." She said lightheartedly. He grinned back, glad to see how their relationship was progressing. He definitely liked this girl more than he was letting on.

"Anyway, are you still willing to show me around?" Dana asked, as Sebastian finished his drink. "Absolutely." He smiled, standing up to leave. Dana did the same, following him to the door of the little cafe. She'd have to remember the place of their first date.

A/N: I'm a disaster I'm sorry. This chapter isn't great.
