Once Dana had emerged from the bathroom, Sebastian asked. "Can I give Scarlett your number?" She looked at him, and narrowed her eyebrows. "Scarlett who?" She put her damp top on the radiator by the window. "Scarlett Johansson." He replied. Again she stares at him.
"Why would you give her my number?" She said after some time getting over the idea of it. "She asked for it. She said she wanted to talk to you about something." He didn't disclose what. "Wait, Scarlett Johansson asked for my number?" Dana muttered, more for her own benefit than Sebastian's. However, he nodded to her, as she came to sit on the bed.
"I'm going to have to get used to all of these names if we're going to be together." She smiled softly. Sebastian smiled back, noting how she mentioned the idea of the two of them being together. "But yes she can have my number. Thank you for asking." She said.
The two fell quiet for a moment, before Sebastian spoke up. "So, what did you think?" He asked, looking to her. "Of what?" Dana sounded confused.
"Of today. Of me. Of... us being... a thing."
"Oh. Right. Yeah. It was good. I enjoyed it."
"That doesn't sound convincing."
"No, I was just surprised that you said us."
"Well, you said something similar a moment ago. I thought it was fine." Sebastian felt his cheeks burning slightly, as Dana tried to fix her mistake.
"Oh god, no it is fine, it really is. It's more than fine, I'm just really tired and am not functioning properly." She covered her mouth in embarrassment. Seb looked down at his hands. "Maybe I should go then." He was about to stand up, when Dana grabbed his wrist. "No, I mean, you can stay. I'd like it if you stayed." Dana mumbled.
Despite how weak and quietly she said it, Sebastian stayed seated, and even gave a small smile to her. "Ok, that's ok." He said, moving to face Dana. "So what do you want to do tomorrow?" He asked. "I don't mind, what can we do?" Dana reclined down on the mattress, looking up at the ceiling. "Pub crawl?" Sebastian smiled, leading to Dana laughing.
God, Sebastian loved it. She was awkward, funny and adorable, which was the perfect mix for him.
