"Are you ok?" Seb asked, his first words once he'd picked up the phone. He heard a sigh from the other side of the line. "No." Was all the response he got back. "Baby, talk to me." He urged, desperate to help her. "I'm sick of my dad. I'm sick of the way he treats me. I just... can't bare talking to him anymore." The joy he used to hear in her voice had disappeared. "Don't go and see him." Seb spoke his mind, hoping she'd finally cave in to what was best for her.

She sighed again, and after a moments quiet, "I have to." She muttered. "Dana, you don't have to do anything. You're 29, you don't need your father, you have other family members who aren't toxic." Seb replied. The two sat in silence for a minute, both waiting on the other to speak. "Dana?" He made sure she was still there. She hummed in response, verifying her presence. "I really care about you Dana." His voice struggled, his throat stinging.

"I don't want to hurt him." Dana admitted. Sebastian swallowed, knowing there was no way to convince her otherwise. "Ok. But I'm still coming with you." He promised her. "Thank you. I... you don't know how happy you make me." She hummed in content. "Well, I hope it's how happy you make me, if that's possible." Sebastian said, desperate to find words that expressed how he felt. Overhearing her giggle was all that was necessary to make him smile.

"Oh I promise it is." Dana laughed. "I can't wait to see you." She admitted, Seb could hear the smile on her face. "Don't forget Christmas is in a couple days, enjoy that first." He asked of her. "How can I when my favourite Christmas present isn't coming until the day after?" Dana sighed. "If you're not careful, you're gonna over-estimate how good next week will be." Sebastian grinned. Despite his comment, what she'd said had made his cheeks tinge red.

He heard Dana exhale, "Baby, stop under-estimating yourself." She replied, as Sebastian bit the inside of his cheek. When did they start having pet names for each other? Not like he was complaining though. He was keen for it in fact. Her voice calling him those sweet names was all he needed to hear. Suddenly her voice changed, seemingly more excited than before. "My mum has finally given permission for you to stay at ours next week!" She squealed

"Dana, you're 29, why wouldn't I be allowed to?" Sebastian smiles at her joy. "I don't know. Mum's a bit traditional about everything, but she said, and I quote, 'he seems like a nice chap, I wouldn't mind him sleeping with you' and so on. Don't take that the wrong way. She meant just generally sleeping... I think. But we have a spare bed you can sleep in, Harry is going to stay at Rebs' for a couple nights." She rushed out, trying to hold back from rambling too much.

Sebastian furrowed his eyebrows. "I can't stay in place of Harry. It's ok I'll get a hotel or something." He mumbled out. On the other side, Dana not her lip. "He said it was all good. Actually he said it was preferable, especially once Rebs told him that Tom Holland may visit." Sebastian chuckled, remembering her comment on how Harry was hardcore crushing on his coworker.
